She's been shot in the lower leg. Considering she's dug quite a deep hole, she was probably trying to dig away from the Slayers and got wounded while doing so. She's passed out, hence why she didn't respond, but the wound isn't especially severe.

Nethimir sighed again, wincing as her shoulder started to hurt. She put Mava on the ground and dived back into the water, coming back with bandages surprisingly quickly.

Nethimir took care of Mava's wound rather quickly, but left her own because.. how is she even going to get to it? Its kind of on the shoulder she cant get to.
