She catches his scent, and stands, not going towards him yet.

He was fuming as he ran towards Zekes home, his intentions unclear even to him.

(No, dont worry. He wants to explain how he feels. He wants his friendship to Cas to stay, and doesnt know what hes doing wrong. He wants to try and make Cas feel better in any way. Thats why he offered to take over the role of leadership. Not for a challenge, but for friendship. That way, Cas would have some time for himself, and Zeke could be sad and miserable.)

Zeke sighed, finishing, and then frowned, thinking. He grabbed a silver knife and knicked his finger, drawing blood, before signing his name with it, proving what he said was true and pure. Then he bound it up and packaged the letter before walking over to the castle and going inside, leaving it outside Cass door, and leaving, going to tend to his crops.

As he goes there he sniffs the air, realizing Zeke just left. He huffs, turning and going back to the castle.

She sits back down against the tree trunk, tears slowly begin to run down her face.

Zeke then began tending to his plants, humming softly.

He sees the letter left on the castle step, he picks it up, going back into his office and shifting back. He tears open the letter beginning to read it.

She stayed like that for a while, then stood and took her horse, heading back home.

Zeke began praying Caspian read it and took it seriously, finishing taking care of his plants.
