He skidded to a side ways halt and stood on his hind legs again and smiled to her as he dusted off his paws. "Good job avoiding the street." He said with a smile.

She nodded. " where do we go? "

He pointed toward the left. "Down this street and then making a right and carefully crossing,I'll teach you how.and then we head toward the plaza. It has a target we can check out for any cloths you like."

She nodded and began going down the street to the left.

He padded besides her,keeping his body between her and the actual street as they walked on the sidewalk. "Be careful not to walk on the grass areas,those are people's yards."

" why cant i walk on the yards? " she asked.

"They are someone else's property. That would be rude to do so without their permission,but since your living with us now our yard is sorta yours to. So you can walk on ours but not other peoples." He explained,tail swaying as he walked.

She smiled and nodded, bouncing along the side walk.

He smiled gently at her. "We're coming up to the crossing. What we'll do is we'll wait at the corner,then when the red hand turns to a white walking person we'll cross. That means that the cars have to stop and let us go across without hitting us. We have to stay in the white lines though,okay?"

She nodded, still smiling.
