"....The term is 'purple sapphire'... if it's not a ruby... it's considered a sapphire...." Knuckles corrected, still clutching his forehead. Sonic dashed over to them, having heard the comotion. Knuckles moaned softly again, causing Sonic to look at the gemstone and frown. "Knux, why don't you go get some water or something," he suggested. Knuckles nodded, picked himself up, and trudged off.

Rookie kept looking. He looked down at the GPS and realized it wasnt working the way it should be. He recalibrated it, but it didnt help. "Oh yeah, we're definately close now!" He chimed.

Gadget fired his grappling hook at a tree and zipped up to see if he could get a better view. "I think I see it! Something else glowing over there!" He cheered, pointing.

Gadget slid down the tree trunk and trotted over to the spot. It was a bit dusty and half buried in the sand, but the gemstone still shone a beautifully deep blue, Rookie picked it up and smiled.
