"Sheer dumb luck then" Seren tried to approximate the nonchalant laugh one might see in a film, and pulling it off wonderfully (sarcasm translation: he failed miserably). He instantly regreted it. "What now?" He asked, trying to keep Tommy distracted "You and your... co-workers? You must have a plan"
Asuriel stood still for a while, before making up her mind and pushing the cage door all the way open. She immediately and carefully crawling out. She immediately scrambled up a tree after pushing thencage door closed so it locked again. She sat, expecting someone to approch any moment.

Seren blocked Tommy's strike with his knife, and tried to srike a blow on Tommy's head with the hilt of the knife. He gave a shout, hoping if one of the older kids in the group were around they'd hear it.
Asuriel was still sheltered in a tree near the cage when she heard Seren's yell. She carfully moved through the trees, staying in the upper layers of branches until she was away from the cage and then climbed down to the ground and started running towards the yell.

Seren continued trying to block Tommy's strikes, but he wasn't very skilled and Tommy got quite a few strikes in. Seren was weakening and he knew it. He wouldn't last much longer in this fight. He was suprised he'd made it this long, using his smaller size to hos advantage.
Asuriel saw Seren and Tommy fighting through the trees. She saw Nellie on the ground and dashed out, trying to not me seen by Tommy and tried to drag Nellie to safety

Lola was still walking to were she heard the scream not thinking much of it since she knew that kds sometimes scream when there playing
