The lightbirds start healing them.

Celeste was still a bit awe struck from this morning. SO much damage done so fast

The phoenix species are all terrifyingly strong. They're underworld beings- all demons (underworld beings are sometimes just called 'demons', because 'underworld beings' is a mouthful) are notoriously powerful and lethal, if they chose to be so.

Celeste did her best to search through the camp for more wounded, but she was turning up empty handed...well...winged

There aren't that many. Most were captured.

She was just glad that the higher officials made it out alright. She wondered how she was spared when everything around her was demolished.

They must have missed her, or something.

She was lucky, that's for sure. She took a minute to sit in a tree overlooking the encampment. She took thi moment to breath, and to think up some ideas on what to do next

She hears some cats nearby. Maybe those will make her feel better. Weirdly enough, cats seem to like phoenixes. Even their bird forms.

Perhaps it would calm her. She dove down a ways and found a rock that seemed to be nears the source of the sound
