I swim up to the surface as fast as I can, trying to breathe. I look around.

Velos looked up, ears pricked up. His tail flicked side to side and he walked forward, trying to avoid the deers.

you weren't sure how to befriend it, but it still seemed interested in you. He slowly approached you, sidestepping towards the river slightly.
I decide to keep it in view but keep moving.

You got up to the surface. it was a massive cave, lit up by crystals. There were fireflies zooming around and some of the pool was covered in ice, frozen over. you seems very far down.

The deer slowly moved behind you, head down as if lazily stretching.

You find a nice stretch by the river.
