every once in a while you see them snap their beaks together making a sort of clapping sound

one of the younger ones was clapping out in panic. he seemed lost.

it clapped back at you and looked around. it's parents don't seem to be anywhere nearby

it wobbles over and sniffs it but doesn't eat it. perhaps they prefer a different kind of food?
