He stopped when he heard her collapse. Now he was torn again. Should be pick her up and carry her back to the hunters? Or maybe give her a life she wanted? As much as he wished to please the hunters he also didn't want to see another die. With this he picked her up and placed her gently across his back before trotting off.
The den he found was nothing more than a hollow log with most of the entrance blocked by dirt. After crawling inside he placed her upon a moss bed (one he had created) allowing her to sleep there. She would most likely be out for some time to come thus he decided it best to travel back to his humans before refunding to her side. Along the way he managed to find a flower that had a bit of color in its middle. The humans were happy to have this thus they fed him better than the others that night before sending him out yet again.

Shadow wasn't aware of what was going on. She thought she might be soon dead. She didn't know what to do. She tried to move but she couldn't

Theon stumbled slightly and placed a hand on the female morkko's shoulder once again. "Sorry, you don't mind do you? It's just that I'm sort of worn out after all that so its hard to focus on where I'm stepping."
He knew that this was perhaps revealing a bit to much weakness but, it was all to necessary at the moment. In truth though he was tired from the fight in reality he was far further hindered by a sudden bout of dizziness and pain in his eyes. He squinted and rubbed at his useless eyes in an attempt to relieve some of the pain.

After having hunted down a fish or two he returned to the hollow log den. "Shadow?" He called looking in at the den. "I brought some food back."

Shadow looked at him and smiled. She had regained a bit of strength but she needed to know what happened back there.

Maria~
She looked up at him slightly. It wasn't hard to look up at the man, after all her shoulder came up just a bit more than his waist. She moved a tad bit closer to him so her fur touched his leg before she stopped walking. If he was really that tired then she wanted him to rest, this was done by offering him a seat in her back. It may not have been the most comfortable means of transportation but it would prevent him passing out on them.

"Maybe it was just that you were tired." He said before laying the fish down for her to take. "Or maybe hungry."

Theon shook his head slightly. "Thanks but I just need to..." he lost his balance completely and fell sideways onto the morkko. He had one arm over her back to prevent from collapsing onto the ground.
"Dammit..." he muttered to himself as he squeezed his eyes tightly shut and clutched inadvertently at the morkko's fur. He felt sick, it hadn't been this bad in months but still the feeling was not unfamiliar to him. Whatever it was had started when he was young, about ten or eleven. He had been slowly losing his vision since that age when about five years ago it suddenly began getting rapidly worse, accompanied by the pain and dizziness. In a matter of days he went from being able to see, though granted not very well, to being completely blind. Though the damage had already been done the first time, the attacks continued to occur periodically. Insult to injury...
