"Well of course I love to swim, I'm a SEAwing" Coastal reminded Darkness before diving under the waves to avoid the Skywing attackers. "You should help them" she thought "you should leave them" her evil side thought. She stared to the ocean top, waiting to see if her friends needed help, even though her thoughts urged for her to swim deeper.

Darkness gave Coastal a final, quick glance, thinking coward, and lunged up at the SkyWings and began to tear at their wings, sending them down onto land or into the water, or just set them fleeing away. Blizzard followed her soon afterwards, and soon enough, there were only two SkyWings left in the air, the others all landed or fleeing. "One of you gets to leave here alive. The other is going to die. Which is it going to be?" Darkness snarled.
"Go, Eagle. This dragonet isn't going to hurt me," the red-gold dragoness said to her partner.
"No, Cinder, I'm not letting you-"
"Our dragonets need you. Now go!" Cinder shouted, pushing her orange mate away. With a wounded look on his face, he turned away and fled back to the Sky Kingdom. Cinder turned back to the two much younger dragons left in the air. "So go ahead, NightWing, IceWing. Try and kill me."
Darkness blinked once. That was all the warning she gave before she lunged for the older dragon's face and latched on, waiting for her weight to snap Cinder's neck.
And it did.
Cinder began to almost melt, her form dissolving into the air, and Darkness could feel something strange in her gut. She barreled back down to the island and tensed, feeling the change pass through her. Her scales began to change color to the reddish gold of the SkyWing she had just killed, and she grew in size and wingspan, until in her place stood the body of Cinder the SkyWing.
"My first killform," Darkness-Cinder whispered, looking at one of her wings. It was huge, now, and the light almost made it glow orange. And even her voice sounded different, like the SkyWing she had just killed. "I have a killform." She took in a breath and felt something warm inside her chest, and spit out a tongue of fire at the rocks below her. "Three moons, I have a killform!" she shouted, taking flight.

Coastal shrieked as she burst out of the ocean, an angered Seawing behind her. "Monster!" He shouted at Coastal as she fled. "Help! Help me!" Coastal screamed for help, but her insides screamed to turn and slaughter this incompetent Seawing, stab him with her new tail, wondering how it felt to kill someone, to watch the life fade from their eyes- no, that's bad, very bad Coastal, she shook her negative thoughts away.

Blizzard tackled the rogue SeaWing and blasted frostbreath at his face, shutting him up. "You all right, um... Coastal?" he asked, relieved that he remembered her name. "We might want to leave here soon, if we don't want to be attacked constantly."
Darkness-Cinder stared at her claws and watched them morph back into her normal dark gray talons. "Why was he calling you a monster?" she wondered out loud, looking up at Coastal. "Sure, you might be a hybrid, but hybrids aren't necessarily evil."

"Well, he did just see a Sandwing breathing underwater, so I can't say I blame him" Coastal said, slightly embarrassed. Coastal did look more Sandwing than Seawing, and she was mostly a yellow green color, the frills along her back were shaped like waves. "Thanks for saving me, I was really scared, I saw him under water, then he flashed some scales at me, I flashed a few scales back, and suddenly he's attacking me!" Coastal explained.

(Yep never mind ShadeWings are evil. Also do you know why the NightWing queen wants to kill the prophecy dragonets? Like, all they are doing is healing sickness that kills people.)

Golden- I have no idea. Maybe ask her RPer.

"No problem," Blizzard said, watching Coastal.
Darkness hummed and spread her wings. "We should probably leave, before the SkyWings come back with reinforcements." She began to morph back into Cinder's form, relishing the strange tingle the changing gave her.

Ibis had known for awhile now that she was part of the prophecy. Her parents had tried to make her stay, but now that they were gone she had no reason to go back to the RainWing kingdom. Besides, those ShadeWings might still be there... She still didn't understand the reason for them attacking her village. They had been at peace for so long, and the RainWings hadn't provoked them. Besides, they were both suffering with the Flashing, and it would be so much better if all the tribes worked together... she shook such unrealistic thinking from her mind. The Flashing seemed to make tensions run higher than ever, with even the dragons in her village snapping at each, or hurrying their dragonets past paler members with paranoid glances. But now was the time to find the other dragonets she had seen in her dreams instead of dwelling on the past. She supposed she should probably tell Monsoon about it.

Ink paced back and forth, wondering what he had gotten himself into. He couldn't leave now, that would break her heart. But if he stayed, he would have to be a RainWing all the time- and how long could he keep up his guise? He could only stay in his form for 21 days- and that was pushing it, considering he had no practice and no experience. He didn't even have another ShadeWing to help him like the other members of his tribe. He hadn't been paying attention in his classes- he hadn't thought he would actually ever kill somebody. His entire body tensed up as he thought of what happened a couple of hours ago. He was startled out of his thoughts by Ibis approaching.
"Hey, Monsoon? I have something I need to talk to you about."
He looked around for a couple seconds before realizing she was talking to him. "Yeah?"
"I know you're sad about our parents and all, but I have something I need to do. We will have to move on."
"Um, sure. I mean, yeah I'm sad. But we can do your whatever." The farther we get away from here, the better. He suddenly remembered that RainWing scales showed emotion, and was embarrassed to see them a dark pink color. He quickly switched it to grey to match Ibis.
"Are you okay? You've been acting a little bit strange lately, ever since we've escaped."
"As okay as I should be, I mean, my parents just died." Stop being awkward.
"You see, I'm part of this prophecy..."
Monsoon's memories gave him the perfect response. "I was definitely not expecting that."
"There's other dragonets too, I've seen them. And I need to go find them."
"So you're a draaaagoneeeet of DEEESTINYYYYY," replied Ink in a somewhat mocking tone. Monsoon had played that as a kid- the original ones. Ibis would always be Glory and Monsoon would complain about having to be another tribe. Ink blinked. He had forgotten who he was for a second.
Ibis didn't answer, instead she spread her wings and started flying at a breakneck pace. Ink scrambled to catch up. Did I make her mad? Ibis was now flying with her eyes closed.
"What-" Ink started to ask, but was shushed. "You're going-"
"I know what I'm doing," Ibis snapped. BONK!
"...I was going to say 'to bump into that tree.'"
They continued flying.
(Sorry for such a long post, if you didn't read it I don't blame you, just introducing my characters. Also I have the reason for the attack explained in my third character I'm working onposted(I'm so sorry I like writing back stories) I'm so sorry I just really like this idea. And sorry for saying sorry so much)

"I guess you're right, so, Darkness, how would you feel about a Seawing form?" Coastal asked. "There were a few other Seawings nearby when I was attacked, it's only a matter of time before-" Coastal was cut off as three Seawings surfaced. "Murderer!" One shouted as he leapt atop Coastal. The Seawing was much larger than Coastal, but she quickly stabbed him repeatedly with her tail. Coastal crawled out from under the Seawing as he fell.

The feeling was stronger now, pulling her towards the kingdom of the sea. She could see a battle going on, it seemed like there was a group of dragons killing a bunch of SeaWings. But the ones fighting- she recognized some of them! From her dream! She swooped down.

Ink followed slowly. He didn't want to battle- if he accidentally killed somebody he would turn into them and expose himself. Better to just wait it out.
