"yeah so have I, but... this isn't a bad situation!!! Why won't anyone just stop and eat?!? Nothing's gonna happen!!!" she said her voice rising in fury then it quiets again,"Nothing's gonna hurt us right now."

"That's not what He thinks." She said nodding in the direction of the Native Americans. "I don't understand why they hate us so much." She added still holding a grudge against them.

"Well people, like us, that are what hey call 'white men' have torn down their villages, can you really blame them?" she said lost in her own thoughts.

"Yeah but not all "white men" are the same they could of at least not started out by trying to kill us." She said a little sorely

She shrugged. Her stomach grumbled,"Why don't we, just you and I, stop and have breakfast, they can stop if they want to. And, we can always just catch up."

Wind suddenly stopped a reared up afraid. Camel did the same only throwing his rider in the process of his fright. July landed on his rear in the sand. "What the hell?! What's gotten into them?!" He cursed as he went to stand. "Camel get back here right now!" He yelled at the horse. Suddenly the ground beneath him sank the sand swallowing his shoes up to his boots. "What the-?" He was cut off though as the ground sank again this time going up to his armpits. "******!" Then he was gone.

Ratonhnhake:ton slid from Wind's back. "No one move." He warned. Slowly he raised his weapon, then threw it on the ground. The sand erupted as a giant worm like creature shot up from it. "That's why we were running." He blankly pointed out as he picked up his tomahawk and ran at the thing.

Mia raised her bow and arrow and shot at the beast. She then let the Native American guy deal with the rest.

A sand worm is about as tall as a two story house. Though they have no teeth their jaws act as they enabling them to grab food and pull it into their mouths. They live in the sand (hints the name) and normally are never seen by humans. They hunt by sound and sometimes end up close enough to the surface to kill a human. Their prey is swallowed whole, meaning they are digested alive.

Pepper jumped of Alaska's back and ran at the worm "July!" She screamed and pulled out her whip ****** ****** ******! July you can't leave me yet! she thought in anger and panic as she pulled out her whip and began slashing at the worm "Give July back!" She screamed lashing the worm over and over again partly because she was going crazy and partly to create a hole she could pull July out of.
