Iist backed away from the flame and Focus. "Damn him..."

Alone with her two companions once again, she sighed. "...I'm sorry I bothered you guys with all of that. Those weren't our affairs at all." She looked at Focus with guilty eyes. "I know I said that I wanted to help the goddess...but we have to save him. That wasn't right." Her fists shook at her sides. "...I need to get stronger to save him too. But who knows how long that would take, and if he'd be alive by then."

She went to check on Uje to make sure he was alright after the scuffle with the guards. "I...I want to go after him. I want to get stronger, find his kingdom, and try to save him. Maybe along the way, we can find ways to help Destiny, but I can't just leave him alone." She turned to Focus. "...What do you think about all of this?"

Focus wiggled her eyebrows and smirked, whispering something to Uje that sounded like 'Love conquers all!' which Uje seemed to find extremely hilarious, causing him to romp around, making a strangled laughing sound. Focus turned back to you, smirk still plastered across her face. "Well, let's find the kingdom, shall we?"

Iist puffed her cheeks and pouted. "C'mon guys, you're in this for the JUSTICE of it, right!?"

She shook her head and balled her fist. "Yeah, let's get out of this forest. We can always come back later." She looked up at her friends. "Before we find the kingdom, I have to get stronger though. Possibly find more people to help us, or armor or weapons. We can't storm the kingdom without things like those."

In a hurry to start the next chapter of her adventure, she walked in the direction of where they came.

You walk towards the way you came from, and fog snakes around your feet as you see the mirror once again. You can hear Focus and Uje snickering in the back.

Iist gets filled with anger seeing the mirror, just because it was so helpful the first time. "We're not wasting time here. I have nothing to say to myself that won't help me. Darn mirror." She immediately turns to another direction. "We should scan the forest for anything else helpful. That's what we were here for, right?" She walked quickly to cover as much ground as possible, clutching the ruby-encrusted key necklace around her neck.

'Please, anything helpful. Anything at all,' she thought to herself.

You ignore the mirror, and your key necklace glows a bit, frosting over a bit. Time is running out, perhaps? The red glows, and a small voice whispers from the wind. There is a disturbance... to your left, a bit deeper in the forest, you see a dark figure shrouded in mist.

Iist looked at the necklace in alarm. "Oh, no..." Her head jerked up to follow the eerie voice to the left. Desperate for leads, she ran towards the dark figure in the mist.

Three green orbs float towards you, circling you. They burned with a ferocity and heat you've never felt before, and they closed in on you.

"Haxenth?" I ask alarmed, shrinking into myself

You run towards the figure and see it is a somewhat young girl, her lower half of the body a snake. Her whole colour palette was a dark blue, and she had a pair of blue wings in which galaxies spun and stars sparkled. A starlit wolf lay at her tail, and you felt she was still watching you despite her eyes closed. Weary traveller... hello... a whisper floated towards you, although her mouth made no movements.
