Shade took the girls out back and made sure the door was shut before taking them over to the flowers. Clarity picked a moon flower and held it out to Akira as Shade sat down with his back to the wall and Akira on his chest,he was soft now rather than goopy.

Akira touched it hesitantly with her little baby paw.

Clarity smiled softly and curled up besides her,still holding out the flower to her. "Safe." She said softly, as there was a bash inside the house and a strange pull seemed to yank at Shade for a moment before it released and he let out a breath it had caused him to hold.

She took the flower and curled up into a little ball...literally. Some sort of ice sheet stuff covered her entirely.

"Akira?" Shade's voice was turned soft as he held her,rocking her gently as if he knew how to care for someone younger than Clarity and not fight it out. Clarity hugged her gently,purring softly for her.

they could hear her soft whimpers from inside, clearly being scared.

"Shhh.it's okay. Justice will take care of it,that's all. It's fine,just as long as you avoided the mirror your fine." He said softly,Clarity nodding and patting her ball of ice gently. "Safe."

She was still shaking.

After a while Shade fell asleep,still holding her carefully and safely,tail up like a shield as Clarity slept besides them. Justice came back out with more black markings and trying to calm his breathing. He dropped by them and soon just laid in the grass on his back,tail limp and stained with black. "Hopefully we can move soon...almost enough....almost." He muttered softly.

Akiras ball became bigger and harder.
