Kai follows behind him quickly wondering if she was making the right choice.



(Wait for Dragon in the castle?)

Kaladin raised his quills a bit as he stepped outside, narrowing his eyes against the sting of the rain. "They'll be by the shore? I think they'll be by the shore..."

Locke growled softly. "LADDIE! Ah don't know how much longer we can hold 'er off!"

Selkie growls under his breath focusing on a monster wave. He forces the wave to separate and join the calmer water, "I know! Locke can you take the stormcallers that have familiars that are able to weather this and start evacuating the island?"
Selkie's eyes matched the color of the storm even in the ferocity in them.



Kai struggles against the wind as she walks beside Kaladin, By the shore is where I heard they'd be.

(sorry for disappearing, we had some family health issues come up)

"starrrrr, Eva won't let me get near her. Phantom will but Eva won't" evermore huffed leaning back up on the fence. She seemed a little out of breath

(No worries Dragon. Take all the time you need.)

Locke huffed, glancing up at Drayke. "Ye go ahead, Ah'll catch up." The wyvern snorted and turned, stalking off to round up the stormcallers.

Kaladin nodded, making sure Kai stayed close as he made his way down to the shore.

Collin twitched an ear, then glanced over at Evermore with a slight smile. "That little filly of your's does have a lot of spirit, doesn't she?"

"She might sense what's coming," Starlight answers, "have you ever thought she might not like the thought of having a saddle put on her? As Collin said Eva is spirited and she might see the saddle as a threat to her freedom."

Eva races to the other end of the pasture.

Selkie wonders what Locke was planning on as he fights the raging sea.


Kai keeps as close to Kaladin as she can as they walk towards the stormcallers.

Locke braced himself against the wind, fighting against the storm as well. He didn't really have a plan, but he wasn't ready to turn in just yet.

"S--... SELKIE!!" Kaladin tried to shout over the wind as he approached the shore.

Collin nodded. "That is a good point..."

Selkie stands up a little straighter out of shock, "Kaladin?" He looks towards Kaladin and Kai wondering why they were out in the storm but grateful nonetheless.


Eva whinnies if to agree.

"i guess" evermore moped a bit. She turned to eva, "but think of all the cool places we could go. Eva we could explore OUTSIDE of the pasture!"

Eva snorts before running at fence and clearing it with about a foot to spare. She shook her mane and trotted around outside the pasture.

"It'll take time Evermore. You'll see Eva will come around just give her time."
