"We don't have to but yes that is one subject I wanted to ask you about," Starlight answers, 'The other is about sirens mainly how to broker peace between two pods."

She rubbed her temples, "The siren one seems to be easier, what's the reason for them to quarrel? Territory,Numbers, something else?" she asked

"Not a hundred percent sure but I think it has to do with food and other resources being so scarce."

"that'd be territory then" she sighed. "I bet the fishermen have been fishing too far out and havn't noticed...most non-magical beings don't." She seemed to think, "It might be a good idea to suggest splitting the pods into 4 separate ones and have them fight out who gets to stay in the area using ritual combat. That's how the more ocean deep pods do it.It's also the way to do it with the least bloodshed"

Starlight frowns, "Cerci these sirens prey on mobians. I don't want them to get hungry enough or to split the pod so I can't keep an eye on them. And one pod is only there for a month most likely less because they're just passing through the area."

"oh... it's those pods" she said that with a sour taste in her mouth. "those ones are engrossed in the newer ways and that includes eating mobians more often than on special occasions." she seemed to be thinking. "The nomadic one we can probably help since they're more likely to accept another course of sustenance..the other is a new pod." she didn't sound happy about that."I didn't know one had moved into the area,let alone one of those pods" she put her head in her hands. "I was so engrossed with helping Opal, and then you i didn't even bother to check"

"It's alright that's why I went. Captain Waverider told me about them last time he was here. Lorili's pod is the nomadic one though which is why I'm so worried because I did feed them last time and competed with them showing my powers. Cerci please remember to take some time for yourself to cheer yourself up this has been just as hard if not harder on you then on the rest of us."

"i know i just..wanted to fix the void problem as soon as possible,since i caused this whole mess. But that means i neglected my other duties and now you have to help me deal with them" she remarked. "I remeber meeting Lorelei's mother,Thlassa before this whole Void situation happened." she got sad again. "If Lorelei's leading the pod it means that her mother has passed away which is unfortunate since she was a major peacemaker between siren pods" she shook her head. "it still dosn't explain the new pod though"

"I'm sorry," Starlight responds quietly, "The new pod was forced out of their old area when the sickness fell on the River Otters. Turns out the clan and pod got along very well because the clan shared their catches with the sirens who forgot how to hunt anything slower then mobians."

"That's not great to hear" she added. "how big is the new pod?" she asked
