"Writing her a note," Calico explains, "I've basically understood that she dislikes me but I want to try and be her friend or at least thank her only every time I try I get told to go away. I was hoping the note would at least show her that I care at a little and wouldn't just disappear without warning. By the way the Crest returned."

Calico puts a hand on Kaladin's shoulder, "I hate to say this but he did what he had too. I heard some things from Seaweed when he came by last time and I'm glad you didn't go, you probally wouldn't have survived. His crew was madde of Artic mobians and still quiet a few were lost to the cold. Not that I'm the best mobian to ask but I think he made a hard choice so you wouldn't have to."
