She nods to them then to the hole, silently telling them to hide.

The pack rat waddled over and began sawing at the chain, oblivious to her warning. Lights appeared in the distance, bobbing along the ground; gremlins with lanterns or flashlights. Laughter drifted into the room, and the pack rats progress was slow. Theyll be here any second! There was the snap of links as they parted, and she was free.

He tugs at Linna's restraints. He wanted to free her, but he wasn't willing to lose more teeth to do so.

She suddenly picks up a pack rat and points to where the sound was coming from. She shakes her head then points to the packrat then at the hole. "Go hide!" She whispers.

Again oblivious to the warning, the packrat wriggled out of her grip to go help Kerri with Linna's chain. "Leave me," Ash muttered. "I wont be able to help, and Ill only slow you down. Just go."

He heats up his paw and presses it on the chain, in the hopes it'll at least damage the metal. Linna whimpers in pain as the swiftly heating metal burns her, but Kerri's more concerned about getting her free than hurting her to do so.

The packrat tries to cut the chain where it was weakened

He tugs at the chain, using his claws and flames to try to break it.

She glares at Ash, shaking her head. "I'm not leaving you here. They'd make you pay for their mistake." She snaps. Suddenly a vine is inside the locks of his shackles and it's unlocked. He's free, she winces as the vines fade, it took an immense amount of energy to call upon her powers. "C'mon. Kerri! Hide." She snaps.

With both of their strength, Kerri's and the packrat's, the chain gives and the packrat moves to start working on Ash's chain
