"Ah, I don't mean to be rude, but, um, this one's been abandoned for quite some time." Farren says, still looking hesitant. Sometimes, the abandoned things were abandoned for a reason and shouldn't be messed with. Bridget is already scrambling forward to go explore. Jet hesitates for a second before following her, asking her to wait up.

I tilt my head "okay" I tilt my head, picking up his fear "I'll protect you" I dash forwards, calling to Farren as I do so.

Farren trails after the group, picking his way carefully across the parking lot and head to the abandoned mall. Bridget and Jet were acting like young children, daring the other to do things and exploring different places with enthusiasm and a blissful unawareness to whatever dangers could arise.

I change into my wolf form and bound around happily, I keep an eye on Farren as I explore this new place, patentionly our new home for a while.

Farren looks in some of the stores, most of which had everything moved out other than a few boxes or cans of paint and aren't opened. However, Bridget scored a few points when she finds a closet full of equipment they could use to make something of a camp inside any of the desired used-to-be stores. At this point in time, Jet has found a few things to help them survive the night and following days as well. The sun begins to come up and Farren and Bridget are tired; Farren's used to doing things at night while Bridget has learned to easily adapt between night and day living though it did take it's toll.

I find a spot where we could sleep without being seen, i beckon to them with my tail and curl up amongst the rubble that would keep us hidden.

Bridget scampers forward and thanks Cara for finding this place. She looks about ready to give her a hug, but she ends up just petting her gently since the Demon's already curling up. She didn't want to disturb her. Farren curls up beside Cara and Jet stays close to Bridget.
The day begins for the rest of the world. It's... a bit noisy. The road beside the abandoned mall is still used, causing for sometimes steady and sometimes random hums and roars of cars charging by.

I lean into Farren, rumbling happily. I rest my head on his chest as I drift off to sleep.

Nothing else had disturbed more than a couple stray dogs before the end if the day. At the end of the day, though, a few rowdy kids came from school to their local hang out place - the mall.

I prick my ears as the kids come in, I tense and scramble up. From the spot where we are I can watch them with them barely able to see me, if they did see me though, I would just be a shiloute to them.
