In a shart amount of time, Xolia was completely ready to sleep.
"May I dissmiss myself princess?"

She nodded to her, climbing into the bed.

Cantana Slowly closed the door, blowing out all but one candle on her way out...

"Sleep well..."

She laid down her head on the pillow, swiftly dozing off.

Temorin had been working all night, only falling asleep once the sun started to rise. His head was spinning by the time all of his tasks were finished. He never slept peacefully when he had a headache, his dreams always filled with scrambling with nightmares.

Nightmares were something common with Xolia. Very common. Mostly of the scornful and disgusted looks of nobility when they found out that she, the illegitimate daughter of the king was going to replace the real princess in the marriage to Prince Temorin. So much that several of them had accused her of illustrating the princess' accident in the first place.

He had never been much a victim to that kind of ridicule, but he certainly had things to loose in his life. They made for some frightful nights.

Of course he hadn't. But in Lithuria, it was no secret, to the nobility, at least, that Xolia was the kings second daughter. Anyone could find out, after asking any sane noble. All her life she had been subjected to that kind of ridicule, and because of her status as an illegitimate princess, she couldn't do anything about it.

Fortunately for her, Lutheria had yet to tell Aristalia about her social status and lineage.

Yet. She wasn't exactly sure how Temorin or his parents would react to that. She doubted they would annul the engagement, but it was still a thought in her mind.
