She went ahead and bandaged herself up. She wasn't sure what do do with herself now. Perhaps she should go see if she could make a few repairs on some damaged nests

Nowadays, phoenixes have started building structures. It's still a weird thought. They used to live in tree branches and flora, and now they hollow them out and rearrange them to live in.

She flew about her camp in search of people who might need help.

Most of them were girls, so most are missing. Since phoenixes are a very matriarchal species, most warriors are girls. How the heck naturebirds not only ended up patriarchal, but made their women literal slaves, is a mystery. (bc I don't feel like making up a lore reason atm they currently just.. are.)

It seemed there was so much to be done, but at the same time, nothing could be done. She couldn't just sit around.

The few that are still here are either injured or a boy.

She ended up helping a few injured birds to an infirmary type set up

They have a pair of lightbirds at the camp. Lightbirds are the best healers, so fire and shadowbirds are good friends with them, because firebirds and shadowbirds constantly need healers.

"I have a a bird in need of help." Celeste said tenderly as she laid her fellow shadow-bird down in a cot like bed for the healers to assist. She looked at the wounded birds already their. It was not as many as it could have been, but only because most of the wounded were likely with the nature-birds.
