"So where'd you find that..uh...your friend? You didnt have one before." He asked carefully.

"It was by the burning barn."

Nicote stops. "Hold up. You found it by the burning barn? What made you pick it up?"

(Hes tok smart for his own good :( oh wel he has some anger issues and stuff so itll even out)

"It talked to me," she explained, skipping past him

"OI! You promised to attach me!" the rune scolds Laura.

"Sorry," Laura apologized to the rune. "But how do you want me to do that? You're already on my belt!"

Nicote blinks. "Talked?" He couldnt figure out if the girl was hyperventilating, being silly, playing pretend, or telling the truth (in which case they were in trouble)

She nodded. "Yeah, it just told me to attach it to me!"

"Oh."

Then, a flash happens. A light green tinted spirit girl, with fluffy hair that was long, and covered her left eye (her left). She wore a green sweater, which was quite loose.

"Hello~!"

"This isnt like the time you (insert pretend pet on a string that most children have at a young age) is it? Because hate to break it but you're a little old for that."
