You jump a few feet higher than before and end up stuck in the canopy above. The vibey ring hits your chest, burning a circle there, before dangling on the chain.

I smile at the baby then lean down to pet it's head. I carefully walk over to the older Griffi. I calmly sit down next to the nest and hold out my hand a little ways away from it's face.

He sniffs at it slightly. He breathes out and pushes his beak against your hand.
He seems to like you.

I smile at him softly and rub his head gently. I reach into my bag and grab my water bottle. I pour some into the cup-shaped cap and hold it out to the Griffi to drink from.

He bites the cap out of your hand, closing his beak around it. He lifts his head and the returns the cap at your knees.
He feels a little better.

He has a couple. A long gouge makes its way down his wing and a cross his side. The other is just a simple missing claw.
At least you know why his breaths are faint.

I frown at the injuries and the rub his head again. I stand up and then look around for anything I can use to help.
