"If you have so mich on your plate, perhaps you should shift some of the burden onto Derek. That is what he's there for, right?" The camouflage specialist replied. He pretended not to notice how off his leader was. But it showed in his eyes that he knew. He glanced over at Nicote. "No, I believe he's upset because he's received distressing news." He looked back at Harlin. "Am I not right?"

"Probably both." Nicote muttered He kept his ifngers flying.

Harlin bit his lip slightly. He knew that's what Derek was there for, but a lot of the times shifting work loads onto him made him feel... guilty almost. Or maybe that wasn't even it. He'd spent so long trying to be good enough for their Trainer that he felt like he had to take everything given to him.
"You're right. I'll talk to him later." He said in an almost defeated tone. Harlin stiffened a little at the last bit. Anything cheerful about him was gone momentarily.
"Yes..." He said quietly, and ground his teeth a little. "Well, I should go talk to Derek... I'll see you tomorrow bright and early at breakfast."
Harlin's tone this time was a warning, and you could tell by the expression on his face he didn't wish to speak of it anymore as he turned towards the training grounds, where he assumed he would be at.

Nicote shrugged nochalantly, lost in his own world again.

(hey can i just leave him out there and then he starts missing stuff and all this time he's in his own world either outside or in the library or something? :P)
