James was still reading his book when Harriette returned. Harriette sighs and jumps into the edge of the bed before sitting on the edge and waiting...

Sophia poked her head into the cabin. "Are you two alright?" She spoke softly, smiling kindly.

Alejandro thought for a moment, then nodde.d sure, why not?

Couldn't be worse then trying to learn that crazy nonsense that was the Alluikian Sign Language could it?

"Y-yes?" James says, surfacing from his book at her call. "I mean, unless the cabin or Harriette is on fire." He amends, smiling back to her.
" I think so! " Harriette says. "Are you alright? Anything we can help you with?" She asks, volunteering James for him.

"Actually, yes. I need a bit of help in my garden if you're interested. I'm going to plant a few rosebushes and tulip bulbs."

Ben grinned. "Awesome! I'll start with the basics. Sit down," he said, sitting down and patting the ground in front of him.

Alejandro took a seat and watched Ben.

"This means 'hello,'" Ben said, making a sign that was extending his fingers and crossing his thumb over his palm. He put his hand next to his ear, pushing outward in a sort-of salute.

Alejandro awkwardly copied him.
