``Ok, your insane.`` Elite leader inhaled through teeth, and began walking away. ``Goodbye and hope that house don't fall of you!`` He called back to you once you couldn't see him anymore.

'And you're rude!" I yell back at him without getting up, I'll relax in the sun for a little longer then go inspect the house for this other flaw he mentioned, inspecting everything carefully

As you looked closer, you saw many things that were wrong about it. You were trying to fix a house that has been sitting mostly untouched for more than 100 years, not even the bestest of the best could fix this.

You wound me vigil truly. But that's okay. Time to tear this house down. I try to do this methodically and calculative, but the ultimate goal is to salvage as many materials as possible while still clearing the area for my own build, while keeping myself alive.

This would take a long time without the entire thin collapsing on you. But, you managed to get most of it done by midnight. There was no good structure left, it had all been rotted or chewed by rats.

I let out a satisfied sigh and yawn, it had taken forever but it was worth it, for now, I needed rest. I go back to my berry bush spot, call over Alcyone and go to sleep. I'll start to sort through everything and plan everything out in the morning.

You wake to birdsong once again, you were cold. Today didn't look as promising as yesterday as for weather.

I let out a hiss of annoyance, of course not. First thing I'll do is rush to look for the best materials from the house, once I've found them I'll hide them under the rest of the materials so that if it rains they won't get messed up. Then I'll go wander through the rest of the ruined neighbourhood in search of a) any sort of waterproof or water-resistant fabrics, and b) a sheltered spot to hide out from any coming bad weather. I'll jog too to help keep my blood flowing

There is no neighborhood, only that one lone house. There was metal from the roof you could reuse for roofing again, because it's waterproof.
There was the forest you could hide in, but rain still dripped onto you. If you were fast enough, you might be able to make a shelter between two trees.

I'll prop up the metal against each other over the fire in an attempt to protect it, and add more wood, then book it for the forest and attempt to make a shelter of some kind.
