Aoi just quietly ate her food. Then, suddenly, there was knocking on the door.

Pyrus jumped, and Coleen looked up. *you guys expecting anybody?*

Lilli nervously looked back. "No, No I wasn't."

Coleen imeedutaly Shifted so frills exploded out her neck. *were gonna hide. But someones gonna have to answer it.*

Pyro got medium sized dragon wings on his back.

Aoi sighed. "I got this..."

Aoi answers to the door, and there is a wave of the undead to greet her.

Lilli shouts "Aoi! Get out! I'll handl-"

"No. I will."

Aoi uses a blast of shadow magic. A good many of the undead are wiped out. The rest decide to retreat. However, Aoi isn't wounded or tired afterwards. "Alright, Well that's taken care of."

Lilli tilts her head. "But, isn't that shadow magic of yours only able to be used when your extremely angry? And don't you usually faint? How did you execute it without having trouble?"

Pyrus blinked, a little scared of his future wife. *it may have to do with all the light magic she absorbed from before. Shes experienced an overload of magic, so just using that small amount should be easy. Plus, its shadow magic, and the light magic overload may mean she could have problems using that in the future, while shadow magic is easier. I think.*

Coleen blinked. *yeah, according to future science, that sounds about right.*

"Nah. Different magic. Book magic. I didn't sleep cause I wasn't tired. I studied magic and ways to get better at controlling it."

Pyrus froze and slowly turned towards Aoi. *youve been using Shadow magic... and you didnt tell us?* he shook his head and said, *i understand you want to learn as much as possible and get better, but you could have at least told us! Im not mad, but I wish you told us you wanted to learn more about magic.*

Coleen nodded. *yeah, we have some great wizards in the future. One of them my uncle! He can teach you!*

Pyrus shook his head and said, *next time, tell us before you go and study stuff that can get out of hand quickly? We can protect you, but not if we dont know your in danger.*

"Nono, It's fine. I just mostly use the spells under my breath. They don't do harm. I mostly spent the night just studying em. Though, I did look up tips to refine skills. Nothing dangerous. I just feel useless lots of the time because it always hurts me when I am able to do something. I want to learn to become better."

Coleen nodded. *i understand, but tell us when your gonna study, ok?*
