"Helsinki and Tallinn are closest, they can be anything from 3 to 5 days away depending on the wind"

Ivan thought for a moment, doing the math in his head. "Okay then. I'll five lumber and five days worth of food and water for a sum of 375." he said, smiling.

The Port official took the money, rummaged a bit then gave you the goods. Magically, you could carry all the timber and supplies.

(I thought there was no magic allowed? ;P)

"Spazibo!" Ivan said, walking back to his ship. He set down the goods on the deck. "You two, put these in storage, da?" he said to two of his crew.

Ivan looked out onto the horizon. As far as he could see, there was water. The winds were strong and the sun was high. He stood behind the wheel of the ship. "We're ready to set off!" he said happily.

(If there's something in-between its preferable you bold my post before)

The first mate nodded and the anchor was pulled up, the sails too. After a while, you managed to catch a wind and were blissfully sailing down the middle of the opening

Ivan looked out over the waters. There was blue. Lot's of blue. That's all he really noticed. It was a much better transition to all the white he saw at his house. He used to live at a farm and everything was covered in snow. It had taken him a long time to realise that the world wasn't just cold. He had heard stories of warm places on the planet, and he wanted to find one of those places to build a house and maybe grow some sunflowers.

There were trade ships coming I'm and out, however there were some bandits scowering the waters for prey. One of them was heading towards you and quickly

Ivan smiles and ignores the ship. If they attack, then it's their problem. If they don't then it's their problem. See how logic works?

You had no weapons on board. They could either cannon or fight you to mercy then loot you. The crew looked worried, *should we steer her away Captain, Sir?*
