Just realize, I came from a background of difficult family relationships at your age too, but now as an adult (after therapy and a lot of work) I have basically pretty healthy family relationships. Hang in there, it can get lots better if you hang in with Jesus! He knows what it's like to be rejected by family (they called Him crazy at least once if I recall) and treated shamefully. He is also called (in the Bible) "a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief". Cling to Him, He really does understand. I truly believe that if you keep clinging to Him, even when it's really tough, in the end He won't let you down.

This is... a different prayer request than the norm. Nobody's sick, Nothing's terribly wrong, Godzilla didn't burn down our apartment. But, I need some help. My two birds Diamond (The handsome lil man providing for his girl), and Pyrite (the beautiful mom who's doing a great job) apparently had babies. I didn't notice till today when Pyrite moved over a little bit and a little, pink, (and frankly kinda weird looking at the moment) bird popped it's head out to say hello. I of course freaked out. Anyway, if anyone could just pray that at least one of the babies survives? There's at least one more egg but i dunno if it's going to hatch. I'd at least like one baby to survive. Been hoping and praying all day and I'm so scared it's not going to make it, this being Diamond and Pyrite's first brood. They're doing great (Diamond's bringing Pyrite mealworms, snuggling with her. Pyrite feeding the chick and keeping it warm), but I know Mother Nature can be cruel and I'm really scared for them. I just really don't want my birds to have to go through losing their baby (and I don't want to go through that either). Aggh thank you for reading through me babbling on and on about my birds I just love them so much. <3

I will absolutely pray for Diamond and Pyrite and their little family. You are right about the fact that nature can be cruel, but God is good, and you can trust that no matter what happens. Praying for you for peace of mind as well.
