"I'm here." She said stepping around the corner with a loaf of bread that she broke into three parts. She handed one to Erlen before offering the other to the feather boy.

Thank you. I write, holding it up so that she can see. I sit down to eat my bread, adjusting my black cloak so that it is more comfortable.

He lost his mental map, but he was okay with it. He could hear someone talking, but brushed it off as nothing.

She frowned. "Um, hello?" The dog sniffed around the boy's feet while the other two obediently stayed right next to her.

The boy turned to where he heard the girl, "Oh. Hello. I didn't 'see' you there I'm sorry." The boy said in a half-whisper, afraid he might accidentally use his powers.

What am I supposed to say now? Oh, 'the crow told me you were different'? She frowned, unsure of what to say.

Creating his mental map once more with a quick burst of sound, the boy blinked, "You are frowning, why?"

He isn't blind? Rae's eyebrows jumped up, and she leaned a bit closer as she whispered so no passerby would hear. "Are you different?" She didn't want to use the word 'malfetto', she personally took insult to it.

"I guess you could say that to the blind kid with the affinity to create sound waves," He whispered back.

"I suppose that is not too strange to a girl with bicolored eyes and the ability to understand the tongue of all creatures." She said, the hint of a smile hidden in her tone of voice.
