Be careful, though. You could try to negotiate with them... but I wouldn't suggest that. His connection left your mind, leaving you to feel empty. A rustle in a thorn bush beside you revealed a flash of bright red.

Platinum's eyes focused in on the red flash

It's a small fox like animal, crouching in the bushes. It notices you watching it and yaps angrily.

Platinum swishes her tail and gives a slight glare " do you want to be bait?...." she whispered threateningly

"No, you're the bait." The creature hmphs. "Now go."

Platinum growled and swished her tail " It'd be a shame if they were to hear you ..." she paused ceasing her growling " besides don't you think it would be easier to find something else to distract them... like one of those human monster things?"

"Doesn't matter if they hear me. I'm the boss here." The fox says with an air of arrogance. "I live here."

" Oh you do?" she said taking on a more respectful tone "... don't think me ill... its just that everything has tried to kill me so far.. I figured you were the same.." she said flattening her ears " so they don't try to harm you?" she asked curiously

"Well, no. They leave me alone in general. They hiss at me if I get close to the black mass." The fox raised an eyebrow (is that even possible?) "What's in there?"

Platinum looked at it curiously " Don't know.. but it sounds interesting if they are guarding it so heavily.." she said with a curious smirk " Want to find out" she asked hoping the fox would scheme with her
