I'm curious, have you two decided on a name for the new species yet? Also, will the new species be available in the festivals while the Mega Zone is active or will it be like the fabled species?

I can't wait for the Mega Zone! It's going to be SO fun!!!
I know that it was mentioned that the release maybe sometime in September, however I'll be glad whenever it comes out cause I know that there will be loads stuff to do, and many awesome pets to catch!

So I know that it's been quite awhile since the last update with the MegaZone. It is most definitely still under construction and gets closer after every week. At the moment, we're still working on the core feature (that I've vaguely described before) for the entire MegaZone but are hoping to have it finished pretty soon. Once it's finished, we will then probably implement the new species into the Site and get it set up. At that point, we will probably post another detailed update with some new screenshots and information.
And then at that point, the MegaZone would probably be about 75-80% finished so it shouldn't be too much longer after that point.
We apologize for the slow pace on development, but the MegaZone will be three unique zones tied into one with features never seen before in any of Sylestia. So it's just taking a long time to create all of the interfaces and scripts for said features. However, the MegaZone should offer more repeatable content than probably all of Sylestia's zones combined up to this point. So we expect players to stay busy working on the MegaZone for many months before even coming close to "maxing" out.
In the meantime though, everyone can look forward to the Aurleon Revamp and the Fall Festival which both should be coming sometime in October. =)
