Jace didn't know it until he stepped in it but Ishida hadn't been listening to anything that was happening but instead making snowflakes. He was kind of shocked at first. He didn't know this guys power but it seemed like he sticked more towards water. He figured that was it but if the were related in any way he was sure that this guy would have more. Maybe as many as him or more.
He grimaced when Katsumi looked at him and shook his head. He was embarrassed about what had happened between him and these females. He knew that he had to be strong for his lost family and be strong for the family that thought him to week to keep. It pissed him off with just the thought that these girls got inside his head and he would never talk about this again, they were all officially dead to him.
Pulled from his thoughts by whistling, Jace watched as a raven approached Katsumi and hovered in his face. It seemed like they exchanged words or something but he didn't really understand what Katsumi was asking of his sister. He wondered if all of this was really actually happening to him, did he really get stuck in this kind of situation.
Jace listened to what his counterpart was saying and smiled when he got to the word daydreaming. he was glad that Ishida hadn't seen any of this but he was kind of shocked that Ishida wanted to meet them all. Shaking his head he let out a sigh. 'Who the hell would want to meet those girls, they are all problems.' He thought to himself. He listened as Katsumi finished what he saying and he shook his head, "I will never talk about what happened here... Never again." he muttered and walked past Ishida, "Now were are we going again?" He asked but continued walking in a random direction anyway. He couldn't fricken believe that Ishida wanted to know what happened.

Katsumi laughed softly. He was hoping that Jace would have explained why he'd received the hug, but if the other Ishida refused to, then so be it. He would find the girl and ask. But then.... He remembered those he had just met. Did he really want to get to know any of the other girls? He shook his head and kicked a pebble.
"Very well, if you wish to keep quiet. Yet do tell me their names. I would rather not address them wrongly." Katsumi grimaced. "Yet it does not mean I've taken a liking to them. It is still going to take a while before such a thing happens, if it ever will."
Katsumi lifted his head, tracing the path his sister had sped off in. Yet, there was no need for that besides further confirmation that he had not lost his way. Katsumi smirked. But why would he need to worry? He remembered the way back to them. "Come with me." He picked up his pace, veering to the left. It would be soon that they would reach the forest, and there awaited his family.

Jace heard him chuckle and it made his eye twitch. He hated that Ishida found his stupid situation funny. "I'll make sure when it happens to you to make your life a living hell." He muttered under his breath. Those girls were all he could think of at the moment. All of their lives were as worthless as his but they kept on living like there life meant the world. Why wouldn't they just give up and let society take over their life? He couldn't stop himself from grumbling out a few curse words under his breath. He didn't know why this situation made him feel so grumpy.
He listened to his counterpart talk and he couldn't help but snort, "God, can we talk about them later! I have had the longest day of my life." He said jokingly and continued walking towards the forest. They were almost there and he couldn't help but thrive for the shade of the trees. He had been in the sun way too long and it was starting to hurt his eyes and give him a headache.
It felt like forever but him and Ishida finally entered the forest. Though they were a few feet in he had to stop walking. He could hear what sounded like branches breaking and he knew there was someone in the trees following them. Smirking he continued to walk. He figured that whoever it was would show themselves soon so he wouldn't have to spend all the trouble finding them.
Before the two halves even entered the forest Sarah climbed up a tree. She knew she could follow them from above because of how closely knitted the trees were. She hated the idea of being so high up and her legs felt wobbly but she would follow these two until a great opportunity approaches itself and she can show herself. She was a little nervous because she might pass out and she didn't want to leave herself weak. She hated her illness and everyone else who thought that made her weak.
Positioning herself in the trees, she reached and unclasped her pouch. A row of daggers showed themselves and she pulled out her two longest ones. If she needed to protect herself, this would be a good way, attack from above so it would be more of a surprise. She watched as they entered the forest and she slowly followed them across the treetops. She made it about two feet before a branch snapped and hit the ground.
She couldn't help but freeze. Every nerve in her body was standing on end and if she was caught now she would have to explain herself without thinking logically about what she was going to say. She didn't want to make a complete full out of herself in front of them because she wanted them to heal her. Doubts started flooding her mind and she wondered if they would heal her without pay?

Finally, they were where they needed to be. Katsumi breathed a sigh of relief. He was back in home territory. As he gazed at the towering branches ahead of him, he couldn't help but remember the lush green leaves, the glades, the river.... Any forest was home to him. More precisely, nature was home to him. Anywhere where humans and zanians' technology and housing did not touch.
After all, for what point was houses needed when they could use the shelter of caves, of trees? They did not need to cook food, they could eat it raw. They did not need magic to help plants to grow, for nature supplied all that was needed, the light, the water, the nutrients. Everything was in a cycle, a cycle of life and death. Those that died fed those that lived, who would in turn one day die and feed those who remained alive.
It was a self-supporting cycle, and nothing such as humans and zanians' money was needed. It was so much more peaceful, so much more simpler, and above all, so much more beautiful. What more could he ask for? Yet, before he could whistle again, this time to summon his family, he heard the breaking of leaves, and cast a glance behind him. Someone was there. He sniffed, his eyes searching. A human? It didn't smell like a Zanian, and had some similar aspects to a half's scent, yet not the exact same. Unsure which would be the better move, to call out or not, he followed what his gut asked him to do.

Senja stared at the forest. Light and shadow seemed to dance together through the tree branches. She was glad to be away from the noises of the city. She reached out to feel the nearest tree. She hadn't realized her hand was searing hot and the branch fell off in her hand. She pulled out her carving knife and started to carve something.

"Finally everybody's here! Alright I was thinking that we should go from the southern edge of the mountains and work our way north. Once we reach the northern end we can go down into the forests." Anzai said as she walked forward.

Jace knew that Ishida had locked on to the scent of the person who had been following him for awhile. It only took one sniff to know that there was a person there. Whoever it was failed at hiding there scent and should know better than to try and sneak up on two Halfs. He kept waiting for his counterpart to yell out and ask who was there and Jace continued to walk, hoping that Katsumi wouldn't call. All it will do is bring more of a problem into his life. He just wished that person would have stopped following him while they had the chance.
Everything was so quiet as Jace continued to walk. Although he didn't get too far away from Ishida, he was glad to have some distance. When his counterpart yelled out for who was there it caused him to jump slightly. It seemed like everything was quiet before but now the forest was dead silent. No birds sung, no animals scampered across the forest floor, silence was all anyone could hear at that moment. He listened but heard no movement. Letting out a sigh he turned around was just about to tell Ishida about the person who had been stalking him when...
Sarah watched as the white haired male continued to walk, despite the fact that he had heard a suspicious noise coming from the trees. It gave her hope that she wouldn't be caught right away. She wanted to figure out what these two were like and who they were before she just jumped down and begged for their assistance. She had learned recently that the white haired males name was Jace but she didn't know about the black haired boy's name. From appearances it seemed like they could be related but the white haired male was definitely older than the black haired male. She was watching from behind a tree when she saw the white hair male explode with anger and use three different magics at once but the black hair male had stood by not even noticing, stuck in his own world making damn snowflakes.
She was stolen from her thought when the black haired male turned around and sniffed. All of her nerves stood on end and she was frozen with fear. The thought of him calling out to her made her want to cry. She had been so careful yet reckless. She hated herself for all the mistakes she made that led up to this moment. Closing her eyes, she begged and prayed to a god that she didn't believe in that he wouldn't pick up on her scent, that she had hidden herself well by rubbing leaves and dirt on herself. It felt like an eternity when the silence was so noticeable it made her want to slam her head against the tree over and over again. She watched as the black haired male opened his mouth to speak and it was the two words she dreaded the most, 'Who's there?'
Sarah's eyes widened and she couldn't help but gasp. He had figured her out so quickly, all because of one little, stupid mistake. Pulling herself back against the base of the tree she held her breath, maybe if she was quiet he would think that he had imagined the whole thing, that there wasn't someone stalking him like prey from up above. Carefully she counted in her head, she had reached fifteen when a spider started coming at her, from up above, like it was crazy. She pushed herself away from the base of the tree and kept scooting backwards but it seemed like the spider wanted to follow her. She kept sliding backwards when the branch started to bend with her weight. Stopping, she stared at the spider and hoped it would just go away but it seemed liked that wasn't going to happen. She swore it looked up at her and smiled and before she knew it, the spider jumped on her and she threw herself out of the tree backwards.

It was by instinct. That was what Katsumi kept telling himself. He did not save the girl because he wanted to, but because it was instinctual to do so. At least, that's what he told himself. He would never accept that he saved a human just because he was worried for her. Yet , he couldn't deny the fright he had when he saw her falling out of the tree.
Ha, that was a funny sight. The moment her body left the branch, he had swiftly taken off his cloak, his wings spreading out behind him as he dove for her, managing to snatch her from the air by holding her close to him. Unfortunately, the speed at which he flew at did not permit him to slow down, and he spiralled towards the ground. But, he had done this before, and seconds before he hit the ground, he unfurled his wings which he had use to help secure the girl to his body, letting the rush of air take them back into the air, however slight it was. Yet the distance provided by the last minute move had allowed enough distance between him and the ground such that he could stand up, the girl cradled in his arms like some sort of bride.
His eyes widened, but he didn't loosen his grip, instead gently placing her on the ground, before backing away, back to a tree trunk. He turned his head to the side and whistled. Might as well. It would take some time for the rest of the pack to find him anyways.
