I look around at the students, my arm in front of Rin. They hold onto my hand nervously, shaking slightly "Cara, there are so many people" They whisper. I place my hand on their head, letting them know that it would be okay.

(Rin)
I glance at this 'Backster' person "W-will I get to be with Cara?" I ask them, if I didn't have Cara with me I don't know what I would do. I rub the back of my leg where I had gotten shot, I always did this when nervous.

she waits a few seconds and then responds to the question "Rin, if you want to be with Cara you can, we don't split family here, unless your my family, So you and Cara can be together and learn different things" she straightens up and looks around at the rest of the students and staff.

"Now for the sake of those who are new or never heard of it before, today is the day of challenge, you may challenge anyone on the board for their position. as a reminder members of the board are in order of best to worst; Masa Miranoth - Werewolf, Jasper Huligan - Human, Backster Renfold -... Human, Julia Ship - Werewolf, Belinda Criford - Merfolk. If you wish to Issue a challenge you may do so now and the fight will begin, the only rule is no killing, other then that, everything is fair game."

She looked around and then frowned as one of the male students walked up to her. "I Raymon Kingsmith wish to challenge you for your position on the board!"

"then I Backster Renfold, 3rd of the board accept your challenge, may the fight begin then." she smiled and lept into the air and looked to be standing on the chandelier.

Raymond looked a little frightened but he then started to follow Backster, it looked like a game of cat and mouse, Raymond was on the offensive and Backster seamed to be leading them in circles, then Backster dropped to the ground and when Raymond followed she turned around and knocked him out with one magic filled punch.

"Julia, could you transport Raymond to the infirmary? the magic I used can;t kill him but it might have some weird side effects, you know the usual ones that last a day or two"

nobody else, who wasn't a newbie challenged anyone on the board. Backster looked to the new students and bowed "would any of you like to challenge one of the top students?"

Pyro growled out, *so we fight some top students and get their spot? why? what for?* then his eye twitched before he growled and shook himself, keeping his emotions in check.

Alexis and Ted backed away from Pyro a bit more.

Darius sits on his furry backside, putting his head on a level with his new classmates, but decides he will bide his time. Better to get to know his enemy first.

(Cara)
Rin tugs at my arm whispering "You should do it! You should do it! You always beat up those dudes who are mean to me" I shake my head "No way am I strong enough to fight them, they look strong and scary" I squat down to Rin's height again "How's your leg?" I ask

(Rin)
"Good" I lie, giving her a thumbs up "Please Cara, can you please fight, I want to see you beat them!" She places a hand over my mouth to quiten (?) me "Calm down and be quite, we don't wanna annoy people"

"Well, the top students get certain privileges, they get to use mana crystals, allowed in the restricted section, allowed out past curfew, allowed to use magic outside of class and all sorts of things" she smiles "to be honest i think you would be better off fighting one of the honorary members of the board, i mean we were all elected by the headmaster yet im the only one that gets challenged. once this is all done im going to challenge Masa or Jasper."

she shrugs "or you could wait till next month and challenge someone, this happens every month and these people don'y understand that its not my fault that this place has gone to the rats end but believe me when i say that this school is fishy and with some help i can make this place better."

Pyro took one step forward and his foot smashed the floor he stepped on. *gimme one at random. i dont care who, just one with all the perks you said.* he said, his teeth becoming fangs.

Darius speaks up, saying, "So, I cannot change form between classes, is that it? Werewolves use magic to change form."

"Well then pyro, Hey! Masa, want to fight a first year? should be a piece of cake for number one" she said cockily

Masa scoffed and walked over. "Backster i would rather fight you man, but if this cocky little first year thinks he can win then I'm up for a fight."


"good" she turns to Darius "Without permission you would be unable to transform between classes yes, but if you beat either Jasper, Julia, Belinda or myself you would be able to transform whenever you like, why do you think the only other 2 werewolves in the school joined the board?"

she tilted her head and smiled "but i would appreciate it if you didn't fight me, i need my position for personal reasons"

Pyro simply went on all fours and roared loudly, his skin hardening into scales as strange dorsal fins grew on his back. his teeth grew into sharp fangs as he changed into a Godzilla-like monster.
