Raised by only her father in a small town, Soleil never thought she was destined for greatness.

Regardless, her chaotic tendencies often got her into trouble during her early years. Her antics were ones that showed she felt a yearning, oftentimes, to go out an explore the world around her. Her father, however, was a barrier to this. He often hovered over every aspect of Soleil's life possible, and Soleil herself never seemed to understand why the man was as protective as he was.

The answer came only years later, when she found out how real magic really was. Her father then revealed to her that she was, in fact, a woman in a bloodline of witches, and that he'd been instructed to make sure she stay safe from whatever 'dangerous' magic she had. Soleil, shattered by the sudden realization that her childhood was a lie, was quick to perform the spell and transport herself to the academy.

With a slim build, Soleil seems much taller than she is. That said, she's always been a fairly average height, reaching just past five feet six inches. Her hair is her feature most reminiscent of her name: in some lighting, it shines as golden as the last rays of sun. Oftentimes, you'll see a sly smile playing on her lips, like she's thinking of a joke only she's privy to.

In sharp contrast to her features, her clothes are almost always black. Her style of dressing is more comfortable than anything: ripped jeans, high-waisted shorts, worn hoodies, old black band tees that are a bit too large for her frame. Her hair is almost always left free; it's rare you'll ever see her willing to style it. If anything, her most common accessory is gold jewelry. She's got rings, earrings, and necklaces in various designs that resemble constellations and other heavenly bodies.

Soleil's always been the independent type, never once failing to speak her mind. It's true that gets her into trouble often, for her smart remarks and quips aren't as funny to strangers as they seem to be to her. When it comes to conversing with people, she'll do it fine. Superficial relationships come easy to her. Really trusting a person on a level that's beyond that, though? That's close to impossible for her, but she's working on it.
