"We're basically brother and sister now, aren't we? I'll go with you so you don't have to wear that collar until we get back, alright? Even if I do get in trouble..It won't be too bad" She smiles and kisses his cheek, "I'll be back" She starts to fly to the throne room

Kori blushes and his wings flutter again.

Amethyst comes back and smiles "Let's go"

Kori's eyes light up but he tries to hide it. He follows after Amethyst with a spring in his step.

She goes out of the castle and smiles, taking a deep breath, "You may have to let your eyes adjust to the light" She giggles

"No kidding!" Kori grumbles, shielding his eyes. His pupils go small and slitted like a cat's, which is slightly unnerving. "Yeah. I think I'm good now. Thanks."

She giggles "It's beautiful when you're outside of the forest, the sun shines a lot brighter than inside the forest." her face markings light up, meaning she's happy.

Kori smiles faintly. "Yeah, you shoulda seen the sun over the coast when I lived out by the ocean. You would have loved it."

She sighs "I actually lived there for a few months, but then had to come here..." Her markings stop shining and she looks down

"Really? Yeah. It was awesome out there, by the sea. I was born there, you know. July the Seventh, two hundred and eighty-one years ago. Lived there for a long time, until..... well." He shakes his head sadly. "So, shall we proceed? Don't want the high-rankers getting suspicious. Act snooty."
