Alex Alexs ears perked to the sound of the howl, yes it was her duty to check it out but maybe they were playing, she stayed at the edge of the loose dens to be able to go over there if they needed any help

Remus and Phantom follow the scent from a good pace behind, trying to see who it was while not being discovered. Sable, after backtracking, catches up to them and the three of them discover who is behind the scents. There was a patrol of muscled brown and russet wolves. At their head was an odd creature none of the wolves had ever seen before.

Nova smells a strange smell up ahead with Phantom, Remus, and Sable's smell. Nova then walks behind the two. Nova whispered, "I can tell the alpha,"

Sable nods, and whispers, "Nova, you are fastest. Please run, tell Alex, and get back up. These wolf things have not had as hard a time as we."
The orange Maned wolf at the head of the makeshift camp in front of them twitches it's ears and lets out a harsh bark, summoning it's pack to it.

Alex Alex had her ears forward twitching slightly listening for another howl, her body was stiff like some stale bread that has been sitting out for months, he moist nose stuck into the air

Alex Alex let out a low growl "lead the way" she said her teeth bared slightly as her fur stood up lightly as she followed Nova

The smell soaked into her nose like a rotten egg just fell on the floor and broke open "whats going on here" she asked in a firm tone before looking threw the tree's at the pack of wolfs "were did they come from and why are you guys sitting her letting them stay?"
