(I meant the part about you hoping I'd pick it xD)
(I won't forget, nor am I uninterested, I was just busy w/ exams and such)
Staying put won't accomplish anything, unless I'm aiming to be a sitting duck, which I'm not. The rapids are looking juuuuust a tad bit unwelcoming, so I suppose I'll C. take the right path and hope I don't get jumped anyways.

You follow the right path, it leads you further and further into the forest, dodging a few loose branches and the inevitable roots sticking out, you recognize a couple things here and their from your journey, except for one thing. Light. You see a faint light, its almost as if it's taunting you.. just asking you to follow it, no, begging you. What do you do?
A. Follow it
B. Turn back
Choose wisely.
[running low on choices... is this foreshadowing? couldn't be..]

Lights in dark forest usually mean one of two things - leading to your death, or a happy miracle. If I turn back, what happens? I get lost, or I go back to where I started. Seeing as I have nothing to lose besides my life, I decide to A. follow it.

You follow the light's, the closer you get, you begin to hear whistling, getting louder the further you go. When you reach the end of the light path the whistling stops, and you're met with a small, cozy looking cabin, but it looks abandoned. What do you do?
A. Knock on the door
B. Walk in
C. Turn back.
Choose wisely.

Initially, I consider barging in - if there's something malicious in there (hey, cozy cabins in dark forests are too often a trap) I'll get the element of surprise, but then I realize that sounds like a really bad plan of attack. Instead, I A. Knock on the door, at least I can be polite if I'm wrong and it's not something that wants to kill me.

You knock on the door, but no one answers it. Perhaps it really is abandoned, could you really be that lucky? The lights disappear behind you, the only noise being the heavy falling of rain and crackling thunder which has moved directly on top of you. What do you do?
A. Enter the cabin
B. Turn back.
Choose wisely.

That is... slightly ominous. But I don't want to stay out in the rain if I have to, especially with the thunder right above my head, so I figure I might as well just A. enter the cabin.

You walk into the cabin, lightly shutting the door behind you, when you turn around you see a child, looking no older than 10--perhaps 11, with hair as white as snow. They look frightened, what do you do?
A. Kick them out
B. Leave.
C. Engage in conversation
[I can't believe you broke into the poor boys home ;-;]

(That's what he gets for rudely ignoring my knocks on the door >:D)
Oh boy. I didn't know what I'd been expecting, but it wasn't exactly this. Actually, I don't know what I was expecting. I don't know what to do, so I awkwardly decide to C. engage in conversation. "Hi," I say hesitantly.
