Reindeer Theme
TL;DR--There are 3 different Reindeer palettes, all from Winter Festivals.

Note: The 2013 T2s have considerable color swing at Color 3 and Gene 2 Color.

The Reindeer Qitari is one of Sylestia's first Themes. It debuted during the 2012 Winter Festival as a Tamed Theme. Yes, that pre-dates the Tagging of Themes! There aren't many of these pre-Tagging Reindeer Qitaries. I call this "Reindeer T1," for "Tamed, version 1." Below are examples of Reindeer T1--



Source of colors: There are no Legendary or even Epic Reindeer T1s. In addition, the Reindeer T1s had a lot of color swing; that is, their colors sometimes varied significantly from the ideal color palette.Therefore, I based my stallion example on the palette of the last Reindeer T1 to be captured (Milk Chocolate), and my mare example on the first Reindeer T1 to be captured (Peppermint). To give a good average example of the Reindeer T1 Profile color palette, I used the palette of 5891767, who is a fourth generation Purebred of Reindeer T1. That Profile color palette is at the bottom of this entry.


The Reindeer Theme was also available as Tamed during the 2013 Winter Festival, but it now had a Tag, and the color palette had changed. I call this "Reindeer T2," for "Tamed, Version 2." Below are examples of Reindeer T2--



Source of colors: There are no Legendary Reindeer T2s, but there are six Epics. I used the colors of the youngest Epic, 473251, figuring if the palette had needed any tweaking, it would have been finished by the time the youngest came into existence. Her Profile palette is also at the bottom of this entry.

Then the Reindeer Theme again became available as Tamed during the 2014 Winter Festival, and once again the color palette had changed. I call this "Reindeer T3," for "Tamed, Version 3." Below are examples of Reindeer T3--



Source of colors: There are no Legendary Reindeer T3s, but there are many Epics. I used the colors of the youngest Epic, Reindeer, figuring if the palette had needed any tweaking, it would have been finished by the time the youngest came into existence. Note: There are also a number of Exclusive Reindeer T3s, which is true of no other Reindeer palette. Therefore, if a pet is an Exclusive Reindeer Qitari, it is a T3.

Finally, during the 2015 Winter Festival, the Reindeer Theme was available as Tamed, for the last time--and the color palette reverted to T2! There are no Legendary or Epic Reindeer Qitaries from the 2015 Winter Festival, but the colors of that Festival's Reindeer Qitaries align with those of the 2013 Winter Festival, not with those of the 2014 Winter Festival.
