Nellie

"Well kid, as much as we want to help you, we also don't want to get caught. What's your name?" Nellie asked in a slightly hostile tone. It's not that he didn't seem nice or anything, it's just she wanted nothing bad to happen.

Tommy

"Well my name is Tommy, and who's hunting you?" Tommy asked, taken aback by Nellie's tone.

Ausriel wandered out, overhearing the exchange between Tommy and Nellie. "Well, for starters, the whole government" She piped in "plus whatever human drones they send. Probably our parents too" She started searching through the stack of books she had set up in the corner, trying to find a specific one. She pulled it out and straightened up. "Why're you here anyway?"

Seren left the tunnel where he'd and the others had set up a simple kitchen. He got ready to say something, but paused when he saw the new kid. "Oh, who's this?" he asked

"This is Tommy, my new friend! Or brother. Whatever you want to call it. Still friends. Yup." Jack says to answer Serene's question, sticking to Tommy's side and playfully nudging him with Tiggy. "Tiggy is Tommy's brother. Their names both start with T and they are alike since they're both cute and huggable and I'll never let them go."
Jazzlyn's hand rests on her daggers hilt, ready to use it if the situation turned into one that demands she use it. She didn't like how close Jack was standing to the newcomer or that he had instantly taken Tommy as a friend. She sighs and reminds herself that he's still a kid before adding that he'll have to grow up eventually and countering that with a 'but he doesn't have to right now so I'll leave it be'. Jazzlyn calls Jack to her side, and her brother comes over, reluctantly if it has to be admitted.

Nellie

Nellie realized this boy was no threat, so she relaxed a little and decided to find diner. "Anyone want to help me find dinner?"

"I'll come!" Jack says, eager to help out. He pauses and looks to Jazzlyn for permission and when she nods a hesitant yes he squeaks happily and dashes to Nellie's side. Jazzlyn wanted to come too, but too many people and it could get a little chaotic.

Nellie

She knew Jack needed training and she wanted him ready so she happily walked him out the door. "Ok Jack, do you want to forage for leaves and berries, or hunt?" Nellie asked.

"I get to choose? That's so cool! Um... Perhaps we should start with the things that don't move. I can be a bit uncoordinated and clumsy." Jack says, gesturing to his broken arm which is proof that he's a clumsy uncoordinated mess. "So leaves and berries?" He finally finishes.

Nellie

"Ok well, we already have a wide variety of plants in front of us." Nellie walked to a dandelion. "The leaves from these are tasty and healthy, so try to get all the dandelion leaves in the area where I can see you."

Asuriel ahurried out after them "Sorry, I'm coming too. I just wanted to find this plant guide." She waves a small book at them.

Jack nods to Nellie to let her know he understood. He places Tiggy's ear in his mouth so he could have Tiggy and gather the dandelion leaves at the same time. He hears and spots Ashfield and waves to her, dropping the leaves he had so far. He made a muffled 'whoops' noise and gathers the leaves he had dropped again, brushing them off.
