A group of commoners stands in the clearing ahead, surrounded by dark figures. Elvish figures with dark skin surround the weeping and cowering peasants. Several are riding large lizards, while some are prodding the newly caught slaves onward. A female drow with long white hair shouts unintelligible words and gestures with her long, dark staff.
"Hey there, what's all this?" Balasar casually approaches the drow, assuming her to be the leader. He can't help thinking of the epic detailing the good elves' victory over the evil drows, and tries to recall if there is any recorded lore since their banishment to the Underdark. Perhaps he could be the one to strengthen it?
He loses himself in curiosity, entirely forgetting the unpleasant circumstances around this chance meeting. "I thought drow people stayed in the Underdark. Would you tell me your purpose here?"

The priestess sneers at you. A couple of drow soldiers wielding longswords walk toward you, with chains in the hands of the other.
*Idiot. Walking right into the hands of drow? The surface races are as dumb as the stories, then, it seems.* She says in broken Common. One soldier walks towards you with the chains in his hands.
(Quotation marks do not want to work for me. Using *s instead)

"What are you doing? I have done nothing - you have no reason to arrest me." Confused and surrounded, he tries to persuade the drow to let him go. "Where is your honor?"
(If you want a persuasion check I rolled a 9+5=14)

(In most worlds, drow capture slaves just to torture them and use them until they die. They are completely and fully evil. Sorry I did not make that clear.)
The priestess lets out a long, cruel laugh and turns away. The soldier approaches you and chains your hands and feet together, then links it through a chain connecting all the prisoners. The procession begins to move, and the chains lurch you forwards.

(totally fine, just trying to work with his naivety and trusting nature - I'm sure he'll figure it out)
Balasar stumbles, before trying to find his feet and follow the line of prisoners. While walking he glances around at the others, noting distinguishing characteristics or signs of where they may have come from.
(do you what me to preemptively make rolls - like dex and perception for this post - or should I wait until you ask? If you're doing the rolls for me that's also fine I guess.)

(I will use your passive perception unless you ask to roll for it. Same goes for all skills, if you want to persuade, I will use Persuasion, etc.)
The person ahead of you is a woman with vibrant red hair. Even from behind, you can see she is walking angrily, throwing hateful looks at the drow around. Ahead of her is an old man, stumbling over the rocky ground. The people at the front of the line are a woman and child, both with dark brown hair. The woman is weeping softly, and bleeding from a wound on her right shoulder.

Unable to reach the more injured captives and unable to heal them if he could, Balasar begins to whistle, hoping to distract from the melancholy of the trek and provide a rhythm for marching.

Short of a few exasperated looks from the crowd around, nothing happens. As the sun begins to rise, you reach the entrance to a cave, stretching deep into the ground.

Balasar puts up no resistance, and feels mounting excitement at the prospect of seeing the Drow homeland, despite how he's getting there.

Dark stretches of tunnel lead out before you. You find it hard to see.
After hours of walking, you turn a corner into a huge cavern. A drow city stretches out before you, lit barely by glowing spires. You can see other slaves walking in the streets ahead.
