That's cool. Give me a bit to whip up a decent intro and I'll post it.

The sun was barely peeking above the horizon, thankfully it was still dark and shadowed under the old pier. King Trillon of the Sirens watched the slow transition from tailfins to legs. It was his junior year at school. His Aunt would be by soon to pick him up. He had done this for nearly two years now, but he still felt vulnerable during the transition phase.
A voice spoke from the water, "Are you alright your majesty?" Trill glanced at his guard hidden behind a pillar.
" I'm alright Captain Tempo. Just wishing it didnt take so long to change between forms."
Said Captain merely grunted and resumed his watchfulness. Trill could still remember a time when his life was less complicated.
His backpack rustled before a small reptilian head poked out, "New school day jitters eh bud." Trill could not help a smile. He was probably the only guy who went to school with a dragon hiding in his backpack. The sound of a motor caught thier attention. It was a decent, but nondescript looking car.
With a sigh of relief Trill stated calmly, "Looks like Aunt Ari is here." With his transition finally complete he tucked his armfins into his skin and stood up. After a few seconds his legs steadied. "Best get out of sight Monty," he said as he grabbed his bag. "See you after school Temp."
His guard nodded, "I'll be here. Study hard your majesty." Trill waved and nodded before walking to his Aunt's car, knowing Tempo would wait until he was safely in the vehicle before heading back.
Hopping in the passenger seat he was greeted with, "Good morning, hope you got everything." Trill nodded towards his Aunt, "Yeah I got all my stuff ready. Just takes awhile to...you know." His Aunt nodded. It was one of the reasons they met so early. Less chance of being seen, and ample time to change back and forth. Of course it was easier to go from land to water than water to land she knew. Putting her car in gear she headed off down the street. Time for another year with all its misadventures and teenage conundrums.

Tracey was taking her usual early morning jog, both her usual early morning jog, her way of dealing with all the stresses in her life. Since they'd moved to be closer to mor eof their extended family (and work stuff for thelarents) Tracry had been getting more a dkore nervousnover starting a new school, even if it was with some people she knew.
She had her backpack with her, meaning to get to school early and get her bearings before everyone showed up.

Sorry for being gone. We were camping for our family reunion and I have been trying to finish my nephews birthday present.
Trillon walked through the front doors into the school lobby. It would be surprisingly crowded for any other day of the school year. However lots of people showed up early on the first day, especially the freshmen. Trill found a quiet corner and leaned on the wall watching the passing parade of people of all sorts. You had your popular cliques, your jocks, your theater club, your more nerdy computer club and science types, and even some math whiz groups. In a school this large you found all types. Trill of course did not see himself as a fit for any of these groups. It was ironic that as a King he had to be good at socializing, but at school he had to be somewhat antisocial to preserve his secrets.

Tracy had finally made it to school and was skirting the edges of the hallways in an attempt to avoid a.....certain gorup of people that, although she was friends (sort of, they knew each other by name at least) with shed rather kot hang out with. They had a habit of getting loud in heir nerdy STEAM talk fast. And that was the only thign hey flake about too. And tracey didn't understand STEM at all.
She was so busy looking out for them that she practicalluly knocked into Trill. Not that she knocked dim over or anything, she wasnt very heavy or wlakign fast enough. Instead she jsut dropped her own books. "Sorry.." she mumbled quietly, quickly bending to get her thinfs.

Is back.
Trill smiled and bent to help her pick up the books. "Not a problem. First day of school can be a little distracting."
