Dark walked past mother, ignoring her. She opened her book and started drawing monsters (she can draw really well. When I was 9 I was drawing freaking dragons.)

she smiled at mother and then washed up and sat down at one of the long tables. staring of into space as if she had an idea about what the announcement was but wasn't too sure about it. she started to hum to herself it was a tuneles song but it felt like it had a happy meaning.

after the kids started to sit down at the tables she went and stood nexto Mizuki. "Everyone. Mizuki has been adopted! in three days she will be leaving to join her new family" she smiled her normal warm smile but it seamed as if their was something else in her smile and Mizuki looked horrified.

Leah looked over at Mizuki and smiled but her little smile wavered as she saw how scared Mizuki looked. 'Oh dear, why is she so upset? Is something making her upset? Oh no!' She thought to herself.
