The items were already being dusted for finger prints, especially the plate settings. Whoever his partner was, they were a prime suspect. Alexander went around to the neighbors, asking if Stephan had any relationships that had ended badly.

Margaret Stephan neighbor and the type of old woman who stuck her nose in everyone's business and gossiped like a bored housewife was stood next to a female police officer "Detective you might want to hear this" she called out it seemed they have a suspect already. The old lady and the police officer walked towards Alexander "we have a lead" she said "Please Mrs Brown tell him what you informed me about" she said. Margaret nodded "well Mr Back recently broke up his ex girlfriend I believe her name was Georgia or Georgina the break up was awful I could hear them arguing across the hall and saw his girlfriend run out the apartment crying her eyes out" she said and leaned closer "apparently the rumour is that one of them was cheating" she said and pulled away and looked at the police officer "I don't like to speak ill of the dead but nothing worse than a cheater" she said

He nodded. " can you describe her? '' he asked.

Old Mrs Brown nodded "of course I seem her a lot, she must be around 20 years old and she has long blonde hair that reaches down to her midback it's the first thing you notice about her" she said sounding envious of the woman's hair "and she quite a petite little thing with brown eyes" she said the more detail she went on it was obvious she was talking about the sweet waitress at the cafe who always wore a smile who seemed rather harmless but then again not everyone is as they are aeem and is so easy to put an act on these days

" ...I think I know this girl. She works at the cafe down the street from the station. " Alexander said.

The police officer known as Fiona nodded "ahh Georgia I'll get the chief to get a warrant to call her in for questing" she said and left to call the chief leaving Alexander and margeat alone who was looking at Alexander "You remained me of my son in law he handsome too" she repiled as a young redhead male police officer walked over "that is all ma'am have a nice day" he said and looked at Alexander when margeat left "our victim died between ten pm or twelve am last night and was strangled with some sort of fabric" he said

He nodded. " any security cameras? In the house, hall's or elevator? "

The officer shock his head "no they broke last week and the landlord is getting them fixed on Friday" he said and sighed when he received a message " we are on the news some idiot saw us outside the apartment and called the press" he said "we have the media and journalists outside" he said as Fiona came back "we got the warrant and some officers are heading to her workplace to arrest her and being her in lets hope she goses quietly" she said

He let out an annoyed sigh but nodded once more. " let's head back to the station to question her. " he said.

Fiona nodded "we stay and help keep the media away so they can posses the crime scene the chief said he help you question pur suspect" she repiled and gave him a smile "come on Spencer lets help Mathew with the dam press" she said.

Meanwhile two police officers had turned up to the cafe to arrest Georgia when they informed her of Stephens death she had dropped the tray of drinks she was holding and fell to the floor crying and had to be pulled to her feet but she went with them with no fuss and was taken put of the cafe in handcuffs and lead to the back of an awaiting police car and taken to the station where they put her into a cell untill she was ready to be questioned
