Oh no, I'm going to sound soooo terrible, my speaking is horrible~ XD
I spell very badly~ XP
Plus, I don't video call, myself, I just Voice Chat~ XD
I personally prefer to just give a picture of myself and say : That's me~ XP
Maybe force myself ONCE to show my face, if they show theirs, so we're even, but if THEY want to video chat more, they'll be alone in the "video-part" as I'M too shy for that~ o///o"

Sometimes life can really be hard on people, but the thing you need to remember is to be kind to yourself. We're all human and we all make mistakes. I spent years in school being bad at it and wishing I was better, but I was so down on myself all the time that I couldn't focus on anything else, and I finally had to quit because I had a breakdown. The only thing that got me back on my feet and back in school was really telling myself "You are worth it. You are deserving of the things that you want, and you are smart enough and awesome enough to do this." And I also had a rule for myself: "Don't treat yourself worse than you would treat other people." You seem like a very kind person from what little I know of you, and you should turn that kindness to yourself too. If you wouldn't yell at one of your friends for making a mistake, don't yell at yourself. You are deserving of the respect and kindness you show other people.
Anyways, I hope things get a lot better for you. And I'm always willing to lend a sympathetic ear if you need it. :)

Hi I am new to Sylestia and just happened on your post.
I just wanted to say I completely sympathize with you, is terrifying to have your hours cut especially when you are supposed to be working full time. Working in the service industry can be complete hell. In some places, no matter how hard you work, your co workers and boss won't even notice. Most people, when ordering food, feel completely entitled and do everything they can to either make you feel like poop or to be rude because they have no manners or empathy. I was taught at a young age that you never be rude to people behind a counter ever especially if they handle your food.
I know when the bad days stack up it is easy to feel like a failure, but the fact that you show up and do your very best even though you aren't getting the respect you deserve is a testimant to your strength. Even though you may not feel your strongest now just know it will get better. Don't let this job burn you out there are many employers out there who desperately need someone like you and maybe a change down the road may really help!
I really hope things change for you and that you start feeling better!

Nyaro :
I'm more impatient about myself than others~ ^-^"
(And when I look impatient, I'm just scared to be forgotten~ o.o")
Thanks, but it seems I forget everything smart when I go sad, it takes very much strenght to avoid hurting myself, so to let it out I DO yell or at least say a few bad words to myself~ ^-^"
Kale :
First thing : Welcome to Sylestia and thank you to have posted~ ^-^
People are really rude sometime.
And yes, avoid being bad to people behind the counter or they might feel like serving you worst than other client or just don't mind if your order is wrong.
That's how I see some co-worker act... o.o"
(I'm guessing most people do that... =/)
I guess I'm just too insecure about myself, yet I'm not really THAT good at making myself feel "secure"~ =/

I know it's hard to remember all those sorts of good things when it happens. All you can do is try. I believe in you! :) Maybe instead of cursing at yourself, you can make up your own scapegoat. Like draw a picture of what you think bad luck or depression looks like and aim your frustrations at that instead of at yourself? I don't know how well that work, since I've never tried it myself, but it occurred to me just now and maybe it will work for you.
I know others have already offered, but I'm also always willing to lend a sympathetic ear if you'd like to rant. And I won't take it at all personally, so you wouldn't need to worry about that. Sometimes you just need to vent and if that'll make you feel better you should go for it. ^^

I normally write when I doesn't feel well~ :3
I even did poems a good while ago, writing dark things feels like the dark emotions were sealed within those words, then closing the book made them "go away"~ :3
I do sometime draw, random things, to keep my mind happy~ ^-^
Yet, when I feel strongly sad, I sometime, OFTEN, forget that they're people around me because I don't like talking about those dark times, as I prefer to make other see the bright side~ :3
Thanks for offering your ears, sadly, I never seem to remember the people that are there for me in such moments... =/

Creativity is nice for getting rid of dark moods. I've been learning how to knit and I started painting again lately and those are really nice distractions. :)
That's okay. If you do remember I'm here. :) Or if you want to talk about a bad time afterwards and not during that's okay too. ^^
