Do you prefer humanoid or more animal characters? Sorry for all the questions, I just really want to make a good roleplay idea.

i tend to roleplay more humanoid characters so im more comfortable with them, and it's fine, i don't mind them

Here is my idea. Thoughts?

The Kingdom of Mossi has always been troubled by crime and problems. Kiddnapping, murder, theft, it is all there. The causes of these problems need a place to hide. The Mossi forest, which surrounds the kingdom, is the hideaway for most criminals, runaways, and monsters. However it is also what keeps the criminals, runaways, and monsters from leaving the kingdom all together. It has trapped the kingdom and whoever enters inside. Welcome to Mossi, the kingdom without a return.

Basically, we will play residents of Mossi and the forest. They have either lived there their entire life or traveled to the kingdom and have never been able to leave again. It is a medieval, fantasy roleplay, so yes, there can be magic.

Name: Beverly (Bev) Greene

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Personality: Kind and caring, always willing to help anyone who needs it. Very forgetful and loves being around friends and family

Appearance: Red hair, fair skin, and heterochromia(one blue eye and one green). She's about 5'1" and has a scar running from her cheek to her ear

Powers: Power to influence harvests and plants

Weaknesses: Much too trustful and kind towards strangers, she also forgets to do things 8 times out of 10

Backstory: Bev and her family have been in the Kingdom of Mossi for generations and generations, she knows there is no escape but she finds herself content with helping her family run their bakery and flower shop which sits in the heart of the town. The closest she's ever gotten to escape was when she was ten and decided to enter the forest from her grandparents farm (which is right next to the forest edge). She was caught by some bandits who took every coin she had on her and left her with a giant cut from her cheek to her ear.

Other: Beverly loves plants, her whole room is filled with them and she loves to help in the flower shop her family owns. She has a little black cat named Sunny and a calf at her grandparents farm named Daisy

(I'll start working on my other character, I figured it might be better if we have at least two characters, but you cant make as many as you want)

Age: 18
Gender: female
Personality: She is generally very kind and caring but has a tendency to act kind of crazy. She will go to extreme heights to "fix" everything. She is very attached to people which makes loss hard to handle for her. She is easily blinded by fear. Her veiw of most things is rather warped.
Appearance:

Powers:
She can walk through dream and can slightly twist reality around her. Only within close distance to herself.
Weaknesses:
She is plagued by a strange sickness that flares up from time to time. It causes her to feel weaker, and cough up a blue, blood like liquid which she calls nightmare juice.
She is very emotionally unstable.
She may occasionally bring things from the dreams she explores back to reality with no control over it.
Backstory: Dabria's parents died when she was 2 from unknown causes. She spent 12 years in an orphanage, occasionally being brought into foster homes but always returned. She ran away when she was 14 after an incident that nearly caused her to lose a friend. Her powers became more intense and her emotions more out of control. She became considered a criminal when she killed several people with a monster she pulled out of a nightmare by accident. She managed to get it under control but with the creature, she fled to the Mossi forest. She couldn't leave when tried so she has been stuck there for nearly two years.
Other: Her monster is named Tivel. It follows her, mostly.

Name: Cassius (Cas)

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Personality: Manipulative and harsh. He does anything to get his way and he isn't afraid to use force. Softer when it comes to things he loves but not by much.

Appearance: 6'2" and lean. He has shoulder length blonde hair, honey colored eyes, and scars practically everywhere

Powers: None

Weaknesses: He often gets ill, just normal colds and coughs and such. He tends to not think about his own health until it's too late and he's sick again or he's got a new wound that'll leave another set of scars

Backstory: He was smuggled in as a little boy to be a servant, not fit for the life he ran away and joined a group of bandits in the forest. He eventually drifted away from them and now has his own little hut in the forest.

Other: Often called "The Lion" by the other criminals. He frequents the taverns of the village (to drink and to steal)

Name: Ven Marks
Age: 21
Gender: male
Personality: Ven is sort of quiet. It takes him a long time to warm up to people and even then he is wary. Despite how quite and weak he seems, he can be rather scary when he needs to. Most people have stuck to just leaving him alone.
Appearance: He has very short black hair and grey eyes. He is about 5' 9". He has a black bird tattoo with a strange white symbol on his shoulder which he wears a bandage around.
Powers: He can fly, though it takes about as much energy as running, sometimes more.
Weaknesses:
He has trust issues.
He is physically weak.
He has trouble hearing in his left ear.
Backstory: He got caught up with the wrong people when he was younger and made poor choices. He managed to get away from it. He reconnected with his parents and is now working at their tavern
