Sandy looked at him. She saw the hatchlings back off from him but she knew not to so quickly assume something bad. Oh.. well.. they lived happily ever after of course. That is how any good story should end. She cooed. She gave a reassuring smile to the little ones and they suddenly seemed more at ease.

"It's not like.. a full wall. Last time I checked." He was angered by the site of the muzzle, even if it didn't seem to bother her. He pushed his head against a tree and stood up on his legs, then pushed the rest of his body up. He looked back over to the compy and started to walk over, he did keep his distance though. He just wanted to be able to hear her still. "Does the muzzle ever bother you? I forgot to ask what your name was also. I'm Venom."

"Huh. Well it's nice to meet you Basil." He let out a puff of air again and looked towards the children and handler. He took a few stomps forward but still had his eyes trained on them. Maybe he could try and scare them? He would enjoy that, but he knew better. Basil probably liked the attention anyways. "Do you like being taken out for these things?" He gestured with his head towards the handler and children then turned to look at her.

"It's better than being cramped up inside,most of the time they don't let us out without double checking us for stuff" she replied."It's fun too,at least when my tail isn't being pulled" her handler pointed out the similarities between her and Venom...to the kids at least.

"Must be nice. Being able to go outside." He was barely paying any attention to the handler, so he didn't even notice that he was mentioning him. He took a few steps closer until he was right up against the fence, but far enough so he wouldn't get electrocuted. "I personally don't think I'd like a muzzle."

"Yeah. I don't think they would ever willingly let me out though. No matter what." His tail swayed side to side and his eyes drifted towards the handler. Maybe he could get out and not have a muzzle on. He pushed the thought back for later and his attention was on Basil again.

"Maybe. I don't think so though. I think they just bring out the smaller ones." He hit his tail against the ground. He wouldn't lie, he was very bored right now. Being in a cage your whole life takes a toll on you after awhile.
