As you bring the note closer to your face, you see that it has a single draw crow drawn on it and a passage in a language you don't recognize. You take another look at the tree, and notice that it looks like someone has taken a note from there before. You look around again, and see a forest path. You tuck the note in your bag.
Do you investigate the area further or follow the path?

As you explore, you find a purple sparkly orb and a handful of red berries.

As you approach, whatever it is seems to hear you and try to quiet themselves. You use your sword to push the reeds away, and see a small ferrikki crying in the reeds.
What do you do?

You pocket the items and stroll down the path, Kai at your heels. A few minutes of traveling later, and you see something glowing in a log.
Do you investigate or ignore it?

I place my sword on the ground and slowly reach my hand towards the ferrikki to let it smell me as I speak softly to it: "it's okay, you're safe"

They slowly crawl forward, before pressing their face into your hand. You gently pet their head and look around seeing that there seems to be no-one else around.
Do you take them with you?
