Within a short while the horizon had grown to reveal the port they were visiting. They all worked together to dock the boat safely alongside the jetty. Tying her off to the pylons and making sure the ropes had enough slack so their ship could ride the swells. Captain Gala took her picked crew ashore walking with easy grace down the gangplank. Sharkon grinned at the remaining crew, "Well me hearties I be thinking we'd best give our ship a good cleanin whilst that other lot be ashore." He picked up a mop and twirled it like a staff. "Come on you lot let be about our tasks." Unlike many captians he and his wife were more than willing to help with the chores.

Captain Gala strode the docks heading for the market. Her eyes scanned the crowd that bustled around them. It did not seem to be any different from the usual customers and businesses at this time of year. Of course with so many sailors around that could change in an instant. Thus the presence of all the guardsmen. Spoke to her group. "We be needin fresh water, food and ship repair supplies. Best we stop by old farmer Mitchel's market stall first. He be the best around these parts. Then we can stop by the other stalls to get what else we still be needin. Captain Sharky should have things well in hand on the ship so's there's no need to hurry back too quickly. We be havin all day to get what we need."



(Sorry for the disappearance. My sister in law had us babysit her sick kids and mine caught it too. She is better now so I finally have a little free time to get on here and get some posting done.)

Nicote pulled out his list. "I need all of these." Which was sort of his way of saying "sure ok".


Tracey nodded. "Anywhere ya want me to start first capn?"

Prunperor sniffed the air. "Apple pie!!" He ran off to a nearby stand. "I got some apple pie for us~" He sang.

Axel nodded once and hurried off to retrieve some more cleaning supplise, Coast padding along behind.

Captian Gala smiled at her first mate. "You always did love a good apple pie you rascal. Twill make a nice treat for us all tonight. She nodded to Nicote, "Good idea with the list. We wont be forgettin anything we need this round. I've seen bosuns who couldn't remember supplies if thy had ir written on their foreheads."

Captain Sharky grinned at Tracey, "Well we just been after repairin the sails, so me thinks ye could start off by polishin the helm and railins. I be swabbing the deck this time round. Once we be finished with that us three can tidy up below decks." He glanced over the side of the ship. "Don't look like the Tigershark be in need of careening her hull as of yet so looks like twill be pretty simple work for today."

"Alright then, but I'm not going near the mess Nicotes got going on over here, I swore he brought a cat onboard st some point." Tracey shivered and went to go polish.

"Six hammers, nails, sealant, polish, ink...." nicote was already off and muttering to himself as his eyes scanned the stalls. "Wait hold up, who wrote catfood on here?" He stopped short, looking confused.

Axel promptly returned, arms full with rags, a couple buckets, a few brushes, and a broom. "Here we are (Good Krinadon, these are heavy...)," He announced.

(Massive apology for the extended wait. I started out with a fever on Monday and have been sick ever since. Its gone from fever and aches to sore throat and now its like a just plain cold. Don't know what nasty bug I picked up but its done a number on me. I will try to get some posting done tomorrow once the antibiotics have had some time to kick in. Hopefully by tomorrow I wont feel quite so yucky.

(Don't worry. I forgot to come on. TOo busy dealing with a very annoying NPC I custom made in mineecraft, helping out with a jr high leadership group, and fighting to not pass out with headache form dehydration while playing Everyone Who. Plus homework and whatnot. Oh yeah i'm gone at church part of tomrow and with family but will be on at points)

(Is back. Still sick, but at least I seem to be on the end of it. Nasty, nasty bug that's been flying around town.)

Captain Gala strode with her crew from stall to stall picking up what items they needed. She paused a moment watching a ruckus some way down the street. A few burly sailors in an altercation with the haven guardsmen. She shook her head in disapproval, "Their captain should do a better job at controlling their crew. Neither Sharky, nor I would put up with such behavior from our crew."

Meanwhile

Sharky grinned at Tracey, "Well as tis my turn to swab the deck, guess I'll be needin to see to it." He winked at Axel, "Got a fresh bar of soap I can use matey, Sounds like I'll be needin some extra scrubbin to be cleanin up that mess."
