Dahlia sent a glare in the couple's way. "Let's try to get six, if we get more than great." , She replied, watching the ground below, unfazed by the sudden movement. "How loud do you think you'll scream?" , Dahlia teased, a smirk forming on her lips. She looked over to her friend, awaiting her response. Her heart was thumping a mile a minute due to the incoming thrill.

Renae giggled. "What's the most flips you've ever done? I think I've done at least 10 at one point. And afterwards, I was so dizzy, I got off and almost fell on my face. It was not fun." As the ride started moving, Renae hurriedly tugged on her seatbelt to make sure it was secure. "You never know, I hear all these stories of rides malfunctioning and people falling off."

"I bet if we tried, we can scream loud enough to annoy Renae" Tess poked Dahlia, reminding her that Oliver and Renae were only two cages away, a grin creeping onto her face.

"Well, we're at the top now" Oliver said, leaning forward to try to see the ground below, causing the whole cage to lean forward awkwardly. "This is gonna be so awesome, my record is only 9, but-" Oliver was cut off as the ride launched into full speed, causing the cages to rock and do flips and Oliver yelped in surprise, bumping his head into the holding bars in the front of the cage before gripping onto them with a death grip.

"7!" Tess shouted the number of flips in a row they did before the cage stopped for a brief moment, leaving Tess feeling winded and shaky after. "Alright, lets scream as loud as we can, in three... two... OneeeeaaaAAAAAA!" Tess began screaming again as the ride did more flips.

"Are you okay?" yelled Renae over Tess's screaming, mentally counting the number of flips, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9!
"You're hurting my earsssss!" she shouted as their cage flipped wildly. " Ahhhh! "

Dahlia laughed, helping Tess flip the cage. "Wooooo!" , She yelled on the second to last flip. She let out a loud woop, not willing to scream. Despite how dizzy she was she was having the time of her life. Her ponytail whipped around in all directions, her eyes squeezed shut. After a few moments she glanced at Tess, a smile on her dark face.

*Hey, you agreed to come on this with me* Oliver laughed, trying to shout over the noise of the ride and the other passengers. 11! Thats 11 flips in a row! New record* Oliver bounced in his seat excitedly, making the cage tip over and slam his head against the back of the ride.

Tess was shrieking with pure joy as she felt weightless during the flips, she loved the feeling of being so dizzy she couldnt even tell which way was up. Tess looked over, making eye contact with Dahlia and smiled widely.

The four kids on the ride had plenty of fun with all the flipping and screaming and whooping with delight, but sadly, the ride soon ended, and the group rejoined Barry, who was waiting outside the rides exit. He was holding 5 drinks in his arms with the funnel cake balanced in the palms of his hands.

*Get over here and get your drinks, nerds, its hard to hold all of this!* he shouted over the noise of the fair. Tess and Oliver quickly went and grabbed their drinks, and broke a few pieces off of the funnel cake to eat with it.

*I dont know how you demons can eat right after going on that ride, I feel nauseous just watching you all* Barry sighed, looking at the ride, which was now back in full motion. *But after we finish our snacks and junk we should go, curfews is 10:30 and we still have to ride back to town* Barry reminded everyone. Curfew was always an empty threat with Barry, since his mom was a cop, he never really had anything to worry about when it came to misdemeanors like breaking curfew... unless his mother herself was there, who was always ready to give her son and his friends a lecture about responsibility.

"Oh come on, Barry, I'm not a nerd." , She huffed taking her drink from his arms. She took a big sip, watching the two down the funnel cake. "Ya'll should slow down though, you can get sick if you eat to much." , Dahlia told them, swirling her drink a little.

When she heard Berry falk about having a curfew, she shook he head. "Your momma may be a cop, but I'm gonna enjoy my time out of my house." , Dahlia said, sass in her voice. "You should live a little, Berry- anyway, how you're acting right now makes you the nerd."

"Your grades say otherwise, Dalh" Barry retorted, fully knowing that Dahlia had the highest grades of all their friends. "We know your parents still have those 'my kid is an honor roll student' bumper stickers" He said mockingly. "Besides, you know how she is with rules, remember? I told you about the time when I was 8 and I was having a temper tantrum in a restaurant so she pretended to arrest me and I locked myself in my room for so long that she had to pick the lock with a screwdriver to get me out, she still hasn't let me put a lock on my bedroom door, I just move something heavy in front of it" Barry defended himself.

"Plus, we've been out all night, we can just go hang out again tomorrow" Tess added on, yawning at the end. "Though, I do have work in the afternoon tomorrow, I wanna get home soon so I can go to sleep and get up early" She mentioned.

"Don't talk about the stickers." , Dahlia huffed, a smile playing on her face. "I know your mom is strict, I'm only teasing." She winked at her taller friend, trying to carry the tease.

"Tess, you are right, I have to get up early for dealing with the twins while the elderly are going out. ", Dahlia didn't enjoy baby sitting, especially with her routy ten year old brothers; but her mother promised her with clothes shopping. She couldn't have passed up that chance.
