"It's half a century after the dragon wars, and on the surface level things have started to calm down, the legendary heroes were praised and welcomed back with open arms. However, underneath the world boils with still present mistrust and hatred. A nefarious new plot has arisen and there is talk of a new threat that is slowly gathering strength. Will your party be able to navigate these treacherous waters, make enough to get by and save the world along the way? Or will they buckle under the pressure and be buried by the waves of history?"

_The Dragon Wars_
50 years ago there was great animosity between dragons and humans. There was a huge war and thousands were killed on both sides. Neither side seemed to be winning so an uneasy peace treaty was reached, there is still some hostility between the two species but there is an uneasy peace and many dragonborns have been able to work themselves back into society.

_The World_
I won't reveal much about the world yet, but the main transportation is ships, there are a bunch of clues to what it looks like in the hook but the main thing you need to know is ships are the main form of transportation (Both airships and actual seafaring ships)


I do ask that you talk with me about character backstories, that way if there is something specific you want for them I can work it into the world (so maybe they are in the equivalent of that world's girl guides or something, or perhaps they have a certain religion they follow stuff like that)

I'm okay to dm for the entire campaign tbh since I've invested a lot of time into this one, and besides I love dming but unfortunately haven't had a lot of chances to do that >.<

Also, regarding the dragon war- is it only humans and dragons, or was it all/some humanoid species and dragons?

If all/some humanoid species, where did Dragonborn stand during that time?

So the break down of the sides goes as follows

On one side were the humans, elves, dwarves, and half-lings

On the other side were dragons, Genasi, Orcs, and tieflings.

Everyone else were kinda neutral or not enough of a species actually joined a side to say the whole species was with them.

Dragonborn are an interesting case since they actually stayed neutral during the fihgt yet neither side wanted them (the side against dragons seeing them equal to dragons while the dragons shamed them for not joining them and thought they sided with the other side instead) so they were in a sort of strange middle ground.
